Behind the project, there is a diverse European partnership bringing together expertise in climate action, social inclusion, and local governance.

Each partner contributes with their own experience and local context, from supporting vulnerable communities to working directly with municipalities across Europe. What unites them is a shared goal: making climate preparedness more inclusive, especially in smaller and rural communities.

From France to Germany, Croatia, Italy, and across the Alpine region, the CLIM·IN team combines knowledge, skills, and perspectives to create solutions that can work in different realities.

Because building resilience starts with collaboration.

CLIM·IN is helping communities face climate change, together!

Across Europe, extreme weather events like heatwaves, floods, wildfires, and droughts are becoming more frequent and unpredictable. Vulnerable groups, older adults, people with disabilities, those with health conditions, or socially and geographically isolated, are often the hardest hit.

Small Local Authorities are on the front line, but they often lack practical tools, structured plans, and effective ways to communicate risks. CLIM·IN steps in to support them, providing guidance, training, and inclusive strategies to strengthen preparedness and ensure everyone in the community is protected.

Climate resilience starts locally. Inclusion makes it stronger. Together, we can build communities that are prepared, connected, and resilient.

Hinter dem CLIM·IN Projekt steht eine vielfältige europäische Partnerschaft, die Fachwissen in den Bereichen Klimaschutz, soziale Inklusion und lokale Regierungsführung vereint.

Jeder Partner bringt seine eigenen Erfahrungen und den lokalen Kontext ein, von der Unterstützung vulnerabler Gruppen bis hin zur direkten Zusammenarbeit mit Kommunen in ganz Europa. Was sie verbindet, ist ein gemeinsames Ziel: die Klimavorbereitung inklusiver zu gestalten, insbesondere in kleineren und ländlichen Gemeinden.

Von Frankreich über Deutschland und Kroatien bis hin nach Italien und im gesamten Alpenraum bündelt das CLIM·IN-Team Wissen, Fähigkeiten und Perspektiven, um Lösungen zu entwickeln, die in unterschiedlichen Realitäten funktionieren.

Denn der Aufbau von Resilienz beginnt mit Zusammenarbeit.

After 2.5 years of intensive cooperation, the Erasmus+ project proCURE has been successfully completed! 🎉

Together with partner organisations from Germany, Austria, Italy and Slovenia, we developed practical materials to support municipalities in implementing sustainable public procurement in a simpler and more effective way.

The project outputs include:
✅ materials and tools for municipalities
✅ a guide on joint procurement by municipalities
✅ a curriculum for public administration schools
✅ a Train-the-Trainer concept for multipliers and external experts

The focus was always on practical added value for municipalities and administrative staff: clearer guidance, concrete templates, less uncertainty, and new opportunities to use procurement as a lever for climate protection, resource conservation and regional value creation.

Pripravljamo različico priročnika “Majhni koraki, velik učinek: trajnostno javno naročanje v občinah” v slovenskem jeziku!

Priročnik je eden od produktov projekta proCURE, ki poteka v programu Erasmus+. Namen priročnika je pomagati pri uvajanju trajnostnega javnega naročanja v malih in srednje velikih občinah.

Namenjen je predvsem zaposlenim v občinskih upravah, pa tudi uslužbencem, odgovornim za javna naročila v šolah, vrtcih, javnih zavodih za šport, turizem in kulturo ter drugih javnih ustanovah.

Trajnostno javno naročanje se nanaša na javno naročanje, pri katerem se poleg meril gospodarnosti upoštevajo družbeni in okoljski vidiki. Cilji tovrstnega naročanja vključujejo varčno ravnanje z viri, skrb za pravične delovne pogoje in dolgoročno vzdržno gospodarjenje. Eden od ključnih vidikov trajnosti je regionalnost: naročanje blaga in storitev pri lokalnih ali regionalnih dobaviteljih.

Uvajanje trajnostnega javnega naročanja se pogosto začne z zavzetim posameznikom, ki se zaveda pomembnosti vprašanja, o tem prepriča druge in deluje kot spodbujevalec sprememb. Ključni razlogi, ki govorijo v prid trajnostnemu javnemu naročanju, so:
▪️spodbujanje lokalnega in regionalnega gospodarskega razvoja,
▪️skrb za zdravje in dobro počutje občinskih uslužbencev,
▪️krepitev pozitivne podobe občine,
▪️zmanjšanje vpliva na okolje,
▪️družbena odgovornost,
▪️dolgoročno znižanje stroškov.

Različica priročnika v angleškem jeziku je že na voljo na spletni strani projekta proCURE (https://povezanostvalpah.org/sl/projekti/procure) , kjer bo kmalu objavljena tudi različica v slovenskem jeziku.

As part of the 2025 conference back in October, a workshop was held on the Erasmus+ project proCURE. The aim of the workshop was to highlight practical approaches to sustainable public procurement and to develop ideas further with the participants.
