Looking back on a fantastic Roast the Startup event! 🤩

🎤 Under ’s skillful moderation, RPM took the stage as the featured startup at this edition of Roast the Startup, pitching their idea to a room full of experienced entrepreneurs. Throughout the event, they received hands-on feedback to help shape their vision and take their startup to the next level. 🚀

Following the pitch, attendees continued the conversation over food, drinks, and plenty of networking - where some of the best conversations and connections happened. 💡

📣Good news to kick off the week!

Yesterday the YEPA Finale in Vienna took place and our South Teams absolutely crushed it! 🚀

🏆 The highest score among 28 Teams from across Austria was achieved by INTRALUME (.klagenfurt).

Over the past year, the team has gone through three prototype iteration phases, secured their very first partnership, and is now moving toward patenting their technology. 🔥

INTRALUME combines light, electricity, and aesthetics to rethink how we interact with our spaces. Their vision? Creating rooms that adapt to people through their innovative power strip technology.

They will be competing at on June 18th, so don’t miss your chance to find out more about their idea😉

🚀 The Austrian Startup Monitor 2025 is out!

Today, we had the chance to attend the presentation of the latest Austrian Startup Monitor in Vienna: an event packed with valuable insights into Austria’s startup landscape.

Some standout figures from Carinthia:

📱 83.3% of tech startups are active in AI & data innovation
💰 The share of companies that raised more than €500,000 in external capital increased from 9.1% in 2024 to 11.1% in 2025
♻️ The proportion of startups focusing on green and/or social impact remains high at 59.7% (slightly down from 60% last year)
👩‍💼 However, the share of female founders has declined to 11.1%, compared to 20% in the previous year

While some of these figures clearly highlight areas for improvement, they also show that the startup landscape continues to evolve, with Carinthia strengthening its position as a hub for high-tech and impact-driven innovation. There’s more to come. And rest assured, that many more big things are coming up for Carinthia!
