1st WHC 2017, Spitzerberg, Austria

14 crews from 5 countries and a team of judges from 4 countries participated in the competition. The event was accompanied by the air-show with bright freestyle from Siegfried Schwartz, Chief Helicopter Pilot of the Flying Bulls, on Bo-105 and Maxim Sotnikov on R-44.
The whole Event was very well organized by WD Tesar and his Team: competition and whole organization (ceremonies, prizes, catering, transport, accommodation, equipment, etc.) were on the high level. Participants are most thankful for friendly atmosphere and fair play.
We are looking forward for the last 6th stage in Poland where the Overall Awarding ceremony (individual and nations) based on the results of 1-6 stages will take place.
Crews from all participating nations have a chance to improve their results and fight for the higher places.

Many sincere thanks to Organizers of the 4th HWC stage in Germany. Both events - 20th German Open Helicopter Championship and 4th HWC stage - were very well organized. Competitions were accompanied by commentary, there were spectators who warmly supported the crews. Judging and ceremonies were on the high level - usual for Germany!

We hope to see more crews in the next stages in Austria and Poland. Please inform your pilots about coming competitions, they have good chances to improve their results: best 3 will be counted for the final ranking.
