CALL FOR ARTISTS
Threads of Thanks: An Americana Denim Art Exhibition
Theme: Gratitude — Celebrating the Best of America and Giving Thanks
We're calling on artists to create original works that capture the spirit of gratitude and celebrate the best of America — its people, its landscapes, its stories, and its everyday grace. Every piece submitted must incorporate denim as a material element of the artwork.
Denim is woven into the American story — durable, honest, and reinvented generation after generation. We want to see how you transform it: stitched, layered, painted, frayed, quilted, sculpted, or combined with other media. Interpret the theme freely — a harvest table, a hometown skyline, a family portrait, a flag reimagined, a quiet moment of thanks — as long as gratitude is at the heart of it, and denim is in the work.
What We're Looking For
• Original, ready-to-exhibit artworks (2D or 3D)
• Denim incorporated as a core material or element.
• Work that speaks to gratitude, community, and the best of the American spirit
• All mediums and styles welcome: painting, mixed media, textile art, sculpture, assemblage
