Treesforwomen was designed by Hermine Jacobs Ferstl, President of SI Club Wien Donau 2019 – 2021 and Christine Peer-Valenta, Programm Director of SI Club Wie Donau and SI Representative to UN Vienna

To donate one can choose from 5 different trees, that will be name-tagged (if you agree), with blue and yellow ribbons and a serial number. The 5 Trees are :Acacia, Black walnut, NorwayMaple, BirdCherry, Wild cherry
Every tree sponsor or gift recipient receives a personal certificate – it is also a fabulous present for each occasion. The donation for one tree is € 15,--(Euro)

Trough Project Matching we are building bridges to SI Club Slatina/Romania, combining climate change with educational projects

An amount from the sponsored trees supports a nature and educational project of SI Club Slatina, children and young ones get education, they will be trained to respect the nature and to plant herbs, flowers and bushes and in 13 different schools. We will celebrate an opening party of the 1st Soroptimist International Wood in Austria in the summer and announce the date as soon as possible. The trees were planted back in autumn 2020 so that they can grow. Our goal of the 1st SI Wood is achieved,
when the trees will be marked with the blue and yellow ribbons - supported by you the sponsors
