Each Great Spa Town has its own sweet treat 🍡🍬🍪

These aren't just delicious snacks! They are made with or complimented by the all-important mineral water. ⛲💧

Local specialties from across The Great Spa Towns of Europe were shared at World Heritage celebrations over the weekend. Among the spread were Vichy pastilles, Bad Ems pastilles and spa wafers.

Who agrees that food and local cuisine are some of the best ways to explore a new destination? 👀😏

Nibble a spa wafer between sips of spring water, or enjoy a pastille made from the curative water itself!

This Austrian spa town, just 30km from Vienna, is known for its healing sulphurous water. 🌊

The Baden thermal lido was built 100 years ago to provide entertainment and relaxation for visitors to Baden bei Wien. 🌞 ⛱️ It celebrates 100 years this summer!

In Mariánské Lázně, spa doctors often prescribe gas from the Forest Spring as a respiratory treatment.

🍶 The drinking cure is equally important, providing magnesium to overcome fatigue and support brain, heart and muscle cell function. Water from the Rudolf Spring is high in magnesium and calcium so it is frequently paired with steam inhalation.
