Too often, conversations about s*x work take place without s*x workers, without their voices, expertise, or lived realities.
In our latest episode, “Criminalisation, Harm, and Justice: Rethinking Global Approaches to S*x Work,” we bring together advocates and legal experts to reflect on how criminalisation shapes safety, dignity, and access to justice.
Moderated by (SAHR), the conversation features ( from South Africa, and SAHR Fellow), (Spring of Life from Zimbabwe), and .m.lewis (Human rights lawyer from New Zealand and SAHR resource partner).
Together, they explore how law, power, and public narratives influence the lives of s*x workers, and what a truly rights-based approach could look like in practice. Because gender justice is not simply a technical challenge, it is a question of power, dignity, and whose voices are heard.
