Tunnells to Argentina We are the Tunnell family sent out under the authority Victory Baptist Church in Weatherford, TX. We arrived in March 2023.

We have answered the LORD's call to go and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of Argentina.

Please be in prayer for our mission work as we will be having a kids movie night this Friday showing the series of young David in Spanish. We are hoping to reach our neighborhood kids and invite them also to our Sunday school. We will be handing out invitations tomorrow at local at 12pm and 6 pm. So please pray with us for this event.

Por favor, oren por nuestra labor misionera. Este viernes tendremos una noche de cine infantil con la serie "El joven David" en español. Esperamos llegar a los niños de nuestro vecindario e invitarlos también a nuestra escuela dominical. Repartiremos invitaciones mañana en la iglesia local a las 12:00 y a las 18:00. Les pedimos que oren con nosotros por este evento.

We had a very successful day yesterday with our youth event. We had about 25 kids attend it yesterday and may have had more if it wasn’t for the rain earlier in the day as we had a few text and ask if the event was still happening. We passed out over approximately 250 invitations at local schools and we had a great time. We are hoping to build a bigger youth group by having these events and hoping they will start attending our Sunday school and other youth events as well. Thank you for your prayers!

Ayer tuvimos un día muy exitoso con nuestro evento juvenil. Asistieron unos 25 jóvenes, y probablemente habrían asistido más si no hubiera llovido temprano, ya que algunos nos escribieron preguntando si el evento seguía en pie. Repartimos aproximadamente 250 invitaciones en escuelas locales y lo pasamos genial. Esperamos que estos eventos nos ayuden a formar un grupo juvenil más grande y que, además, empiecen a asistir a nuestra escuela dominical y a otros eventos para jóvenes. ¡Gracias por sus oraciones!

The ceiling project is coming along nicely. Here in Corrientes, Argentina machimbre is a pine tongue and groove wood they commonly use here for the ceiling. Due to the massive amount of humidity, sheetrock is not used here. We have seen homes that have tried to use it and it just deteriorates due to the humidity. In renovating this home we want it to be like how the Argentines live and build their homes. We like the use of the wood as it makes the room feel warm and natural. We are looking forward to using this room to host many guests and meeting in the future. God is blessings.

Work continues on the house. We had the walls re-plastered and two rooms and the floors repaired and new concrete installed today. They’re working on closing up two old doors used for entry. We’re getting closer to being able to use these rooms. thank you for your continued prayer for us and our ministry.
