MDQ Exchange es un nuevo concepto en Mar del Plata en el cual tanto locales como extranjeros pueden practicar diferentes idiomas, compartir su cultura y hacer nuevos amigos.
¿QUIÉNES SOMOS? Somos un grupo de amigos que nos gusta el intercambio cultural, aprender y prac
ticar diferentes idiomas, conocer gente nueva y viajar. Hemos fundado MDQ Exchange con la idea de establecer un punto de encuentro donde tanto locales como extranjeros, podamos practicar diferentes idiomas, intercambiar puntos de vista, compartir nuestra cultura, experiencias de viaje, conocer y hacer nuevos amigos en un ambiente distendido e informal. Promovemos un ambiente multicultural y diverso porque creemos que de esa manera estamos ayudando a construir un mundo mejor, sin violencia ni racismo. NUESTROS VALORES

MODALIDAD
Generalmente los encuentros se realizan los viernes y son una vez al mes. Los organizamos en diferentes Bares de Mar del Plata. Una vez que publiquemos el evento mediante Facebook, todos los que quieran participar podrán confirmar su asistencia indicando con sus datos: nombre, nacionalidad e idioma(s) que quieran practicar. En caso que se les presente algún inconveniente para asistir por un tema de organización, por favor avisar inmediatamente por mensaje privado.
2. Ya en el encuentro, deberán presentarse en la mesa de recepción indicando su nombre. Allí se les entregará los stickers de las banderitas que soliciten previamente en la lista. Las mismas se colocarán en un lugar visible (preferiblemente sobre el pecho) de la siguiente manera: primero irá la bandera del país del cual se es nativo/a, por ejemplo Argentina y debajo por orden de conocimiento, las banderas de los países cuyos idiomas se maneje o se desee aprender y/o practicar.
3. La mesa de recepción estará abierta hasta de 21 a 22:30.
4. Habrán mesas enumeradas y dispuestas con un cartel por idioma. En la recepción se les indicará el número de mesa, o sino una persona del staff los guiará.
5. Podrán pedir algo de tomar y/o comer antes o después de sentarse, habrán promociones especiales para el grupo.
6. Recomendamos circular por el salón o a cambiar de mesa para conocer nueva gente.
7. Generalmente, cada encuentro tendrá una temática distinta y una actividad de sociabilización diferente (juegos, karaoke, concursos, acertijos, etc.). Los mismos estarán atravesados por la cuestión del lenguaje y la diversidad cultural y tendrán por objetivo promover el diálogo entre los asistentes sin importar su origen o idioma. Estas actividades se realizarán cerca de la mitad del evento y no serán obligatorias, pudiendo participar quien así lo desee.
8. Cualquier duda o inquietud podrán acercarse a cualquier persona del Staff, quienes estarán identificados con pines y/o remeras con nuestro logo. REGLAS
Queremos remarcar que todos los participantes se encontrarán en la misma situación, cada uno querrá practicar ciertos idiomas e intercambiar opiniones por lo cual no hay razón de sentirse avergonzado o mal si uno siente que no tiene mucho nivel en cierto idioma. Tratamos siempre de crear un ambiente distendido y de cordialidad. o Cada vez que un (a) participante cambia de mesa tendrá que ingresar y salir con respeto para no alterar las conversaciones ya desarrolladas. o Si bien siempre hay personas más sociables y extrovertidas, es importante dejar participar a todos los miembros, tratando de incluir a los más tímidos. o Recomendamos fuertemente no sentarse entre amigos ni hacerse de grupos ya que la característica de las reuniones es poder conocer y hacerse nuevos amigos.
¿QUIÉNES PUEDEN PARTICIPAR? Los encuentros están dirigidos tanto a locales, residentes y extranjeros de cualquier nacionalidad, s**o, credo y/o religión con un interés genuino en aprender y practicar idiomas y conocer gente. No es necesario hablar español o sólo hablar un idioma. La edad mínima para participar es 18 años para adelante. MDQ Exchange y los diferentes bares adonde se realicen los encuentros se reservan el derecho de admisión y permanencia, por lo que en caso de recibir quejas o ver situaciones no gratas tomaremos las acciones pertinentes. BONO CONTRIBUCIÓN
MDQ Exchange no cuenta con el soporte económico de ninguna institución ni empresa, ni tampoco tiene un fin lucrativo, solo somos un grupo de amigos que hacemos lo que nos gusta y lo hacemos ad honoren. Para poder seguir mejorando nuestros eventos y cubrir los costos de organización, cobramos en la mesa de recepción un bono contribución de AR$20. Cerca del final de cada encuentro se hará un sorteo entre todos los participantes, otorgando diversos premios y beneficios. El Bar donde se realicé los encuentros tendrá promociones especiales para el grupo, no habiendo una consumición mínima. CONTACTO

We founded MDQ Exchange in order to establish a gathering point where not only locals but also foreigners can practice different languages, exchange points of views, share our culture, travel experiences, meet new people and make new friends in a relaxed and informal environment. ¿HOW DOES IT WORK? Generally, we organize our meetings once a month and on Fridays, they start around 9 pm. They are held in a variety of Bars in Mar del Plata City. The meetings dynamic is as follows:
1. Once we announce the event by Facebook, you can confirm your assistance by completing your name; nationality and languages that you want to practice/learn. In case, you have an inconvenient to come please let us know as soon as possible.
2. The day of the event, at the reception tell your name and we will give you the flag stickers that you asked for previously in the list. Put them on a visible place (preferably on your chest): above all, the flag from the country you are from followed by the flags of the languages that you speak depending on your fluency.
3. The reception will be open from 21 to 22:30 pm.
4. There will be enumerated tables with a sign language. At the entrance, someone of the staff will guide you to the table or give you the table number.
5. You can have a drink or something to eat. There will be special prices for the group. (Feel free to ask)
6. We recommend to move around the bar and change of tables so you can meet new people.
7. Generally, each event will have a different topic and activities to socialize (games, karaoke, puzzles, riddles, etc.) They will be about language issues and cultural diversity, in order to promote discussions among the participants. These activities will be held at the middle of each event and they will be optional.
8. If you need help or have any doubt you can approach to someone of the group staff that will be identified by a pin or t-shirt of MDQ Exchange. RULES
We’d like to remark that everybody in these events is in a similar situation than other participants; everyone is expecting to practice languages and exchanging interests, so there’s no reason to feel ashamed if one feels that doesn’t have a good level of a certain language. Permanently, we try to keep a relaxed and informal environment, surrounded by friendly people. Keep in mind the following:
o Each time one changes of table, has to enter and leave with respect in order not to disrupt the developed conversations. o It’s important that each member participates of the conversations, including always to the shiest people. o We strongly recommend not sitting between friends since the sense of the group is meeting new people.
¿WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? The meetings are addressed to locals, residents and foreign people from all nationalities, gender, creed or religion with a genuine spirit of learning/practicing languages and meeting people. It’s not required to speak Spanish or just to speak one language. The minimum age to participate is 18 years old. MDQ Exchange and the different bars where the events will be held, will reserve the right to refuse admission and stay. In case of receiving complaints or unpleasant situations we will take pertinent actions. CONTRIBUTION VOUCHER
MDQ Exchange doesn’t have any economic support of any institution or company. We don’t have profit interest, we are just a group of friends that like what we do and we do it ad-honorem. In order to continue improving our events and to cover organization expenses, we charge a contribution voucher of AR$10 at the reception. Almost at the end of each meeting there will raffle different prizes between all participants. There will be special prices for the group participants at the bar where the event will be held, and there won’t be a cover charge. CONTACT
