NICE – Network of InterCultural Exchange is a German-Argentine Foundation based in Córdoba, Argentina, dedicated to the organization of customized internships, volunteerings and gap year projects in Argentina. Our mission is to broaden the awareness of people of all ages for other perspectives regarding differences between societies, lifestyles and cultures, all through intercultural experiences.
We are pursuing the aim to encourage people to a global, critical way of thinking and to enhance social sustainability among different continents, cultures and generations. Our service supports the dialogue between institutions or local businesses, Argentineans and participants in our program from all over the world. As a specialist for Argentina we have been organizing customized programs for almost 10 years now in all kinds of areas, taking into consideration the our clients’ individual interests. Therefore we combine successfully every participant’s professional and personal abilities, strengths and preferences with our broad network of institutions in Argentina. Our spectrum of organized internships extends from e.g. participating in scientific research in the area of hydro technology to being part of a radio station’s editorial office or doing a social voluntary service in the field of art therapy for disabled children. In case of compulsory internships being part of certain course of studies we also comply with the respective university requirements. In addition to the internships, volunteerings or gap year projects we organize not only accommodation in shared flats with Argentineans but also intensive Spanish courses. All our language teachers are academically trained and have gathered several years of teaching experience, among others giving classes at the university. They use modern and interactive teaching methods. When it comes to customer service it is very important for us to help the participants to immerse into the argentine environment. That way, they improve their language skills also outside of their workplace and experience the new culture in a most authentic way. As an officially recognized non-profit organization we focus on high service quality and individualized customer service. With our head office located in Córdoba, Argentina, we make sure to fulfill these objectives from the first customer contact until the end of each participants stay in Argentina. We are proud to say that we were able to fulfill almost all our participants’ preferences, however especial they may seem, since our founding in 2004.
