Programa Educar Forestando:
Se trata de un Programa de capacitación en educación ambiental y forestal especialmente dirigido a docentes y estudiantes de los niveles inicial, primario y especial. Desde 1990 (26 años), es el programa de educación ambiental más grande de la Argentina por el número de niños, docentes, escuelas, padres, vecinos y localidades involucradas. La idea principal en la cual
se sustenta el Programa es muy simple: los niños aprenden a respetar el ambiente, produciendo y plantando árboles desde las escuelas; ellos junto a sus maestras y familiares construyen en cada escuela un vivero forestal escolar de 1 x 2 metros. Además, da excelentes resultados en cuanto a mejorar la convivencia escolar disminuyendo los niveles de agresividad y aumentando en esos niños el respeto por el prójimo. Este trabajo logra con éxito en los chicos un cambio de conducta positivo hacia el ambiente y hacia las demás personas en corto tiempo, además es de fácil diseminación. Entonces, la población objetivo del Programa son los niños; las maestras son las “socias” para poder llegar a miles de chicos y con ello trabajar a gran escala, en forma sustentable y desde el sistema educativo; y llegamos a ellas, a través de la capacitación docente tomando al árbol como medio para sensibilizar y haciendo coincidir esto con el trabajo diario de los docentes en el aula. Cabe mencionar, que los cuadernillos y otros materiales impresos que entregamos a miles de niños, lo hacemos gratuitamente! para lo cual necesitamos el apoyo de donaciones. Los resultados del Programa son:

204.200 familiares y vecinos involucrados. Más de 1.000 instituciones involucradas en más de 500 localidades y comunidades rurales de cinco provincias (Córdoba, Jujuy, Mendoza, Río Negro y Santiago del Estero).

404.200 personas involucradas en forma directa o indirecta. Red Educar Forestando:
Es una Red de maestros ambientalistas que involucra a docentes que han sido entrenados en el Programa Educar Forestando. En la Red, los docentes multiplican su experiencia a otros, además de trabajar con sus propios alumnos, a fin de expandir la propuesta de Educar Forestando y lograr así la formación de valores a través del trabajo con los árboles. Desde ACUDE se anima el funcionamiento de la Red, con reuniones, llamados telefónicos, la elaboración y distribución de un boletín virtual y la entrega gratuita de manuales para docentes y miles de cuadernillos para niños. Comenzó su funcionamiento en 2004. En junio 2012, la Red está integrada por 718 docentes que trabajan voluntariamente con 14.013 niños distribuidos en 252 instituciones educativas ubicadas en 132 localidades y comunidades rurales.

“Educar Forestando” Program:
It is a training program in environmental and forestry education focused primarily on kindergarten, primary and special school teachers and students. Since its inception in 1990 (22 years ago) the “Educar Forestando” has been successfully replicated in different parts of Argentina and it has become the largest environmental education program in the country in terms of the number of children, teachers, schools, parents, neighbours and communities involved. The main idea of the Program is very simple: the children learn to respect the environment by producing and planting trees. Together with their teachers and relatives they build a tree nursery of 1 x 2 square meters on the school ground. In addition, the Program has achieved excellent results in improving school coexistence by decreasing aggression and increasing tolerance and respect of others. There have been positive behavioural changes in children towards the environment and towards other people in a short period of time. Moreover, these changed have spread easily. The Program's target population is children; the teachers are our “partners” in reaching thousands of children and working on a large scale in a sustainable way and through the education system. Therefore, children can be reached through teacher training and by using a tree as means to raise awareness and matching tree-related activities with the daily work of the teachers in the classroom. Also, the booklets and other printed materials that are handed down to thousands of children are free! Thus, we need your support via donations. “Educar Forestando” Network:
The Network serves as a platform of knowledge, ideas and experiences for environmentalist teachers who have been trained in the Program “Educar Forestando”. Through the Network they can transfer their know-how to their colleagues, expand the Program to new regions and thus promote the formation of human values through tree-related activities. ACUDE supports the operation of the Network by meetings, phone calls, processing and distributing an online newsletter and free distribution of manuals for teachers and thousands of booklets for children. In June 2012, the Network reached 718 teachers who worked voluntarily in the Program with 14.013 children in 252 different educative institutions located in 132 towns and rural communities.
