Supongan que un adulto viaja en un tren con sus hijos, él tiene en su posesión los boletos y les dice que no desciendan en ningún lugar durante el viaje, pero que esperen hasta que él lo haga. Los niños se sienten atraídos por varios comestibles que se venden en las plataformas de algunas estaciones de la ruta y tienen un fuerte deseo de bajar a comprarlos. Sin embargo, se contienen de bajarse, ya que podrían encontrarse en problemas si el tren arrancara y los dejase atrás. Como el padre no ha descendido desde hace tiempo, se impacientaron y trataron de bajar en alguna de las estaciones. El mayor de ellos les dijo: "Por mandato de nuestro padre, no podemos descender cuando nos plazca". Dios es el padre de todos. Todos somos Sus hijos avanzando en nuestro viaje por la vida. Dios nos ha dicho: "Sigan mi mandato, no se bajen donde les plazca." Lo triste es que nadie sigue Sus mandatos en el mundo. Se comportan de a acuerdo con sus caprichos y antojos.
Quienes viajan en tren habrán visto vagones de mercancías que llevan una marca pintada como: «Retorno 5-98». Esto indica que el vagón debe devolverse al taller en la fecha prevista para su revisión. Solo el jefe de estación sabe esto y toma las medidas correspondientes. En el caso de la humanidad, Dios es el Amo que conoce cuándo cada quien debe regresar. Solo el Amo debe preocuparse por eso. Dios es la suprema autoridad y todo sucede de acuerdo a Su voluntad. Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. (Divino Discurso, 28 de abril de 1998).
Suppose an elderly person travels in a train with his children, he has the tickets for all of them, and he tells them not to get down anywhere in the middle of the journey, but wait for him to get down. The children get attracted by the several eatables that are sold on the platform in some stations en route, and have a strong desire to get down and buy them. But they restrain themselves from getting down, as they may be in trouble if the train starts and they are left behind. Since the father didn't get off for long, they became impatient and tried to get off at some stations. The eldest of the children tells them, "As per father's command, we cannot get down as we like."
God is the father of all. All are His children proceeding on the journey of life. God has told us, "Follow My command, do not get down, anywhere you like." The pity is, no one follows His commands in the world. They behave according to their whims and fancies. Those who travel by train would have seen goods wagons bearing a painted mark like, "Return 5-98." This indicates that the wagon should be returned to the workshop on the due date for attention. It is only the station master who knows this, and takes action. In the case of humanity, God is the Master who knows when each one has to return . Only the Master has to worry about it.
