Hi, I’m Greta✨I’m currently volunteering in Gdynia, Poland, a city by the Baltic Sea. Together with Gdańsk and Sopot it forms the “Trójmiasto”, three connected cities that are very popular tourist destinations.

I’ve already been here for 3 months and I’m happy to share my experience. I volunteer in a youth centre focused on creativity and design, where as an artist I can share my skills and ideas. Most of the time we help organize different workshops, and I also run some of my own.

The language can sometimes be a small barrier, because not everyone speaks English, so I try to communicate in Polish. Luckily, there are many kind people who help me with this.

For me, volunteering is an amazing opportunity. It gives you space to discover more about yourself, share cultures, meet new people, and grow as a person. I’ve also met wonderful friends here, and we often spend time together and travel around Europe.

I’m full of energy and excitement to continue this journey, and I hope every young person can have such a beautiful experience in their life.
