European Business Association (EBA) is the union of legal entities that brings together more than 140 foreign and local Companies from different sectors. It is private sector-civil society partnership and platforn for Public-Private Dialogs in Armenia. The main objective of the EBA is to support representatives of Business Community in Armenia and facilitate the business integration and cooperatio

n between Armenia and the European Union as well as to improve business environment, encourage foreign investments and improve corresponding legislative framework. The EBA is functioning as a voice of private sector in Armenia to direct their needs toward Armenian authorities and advocating their interests for the elimination of corresponding obstacles. The EBA is promoting fair, open and productive relationship between business and the government. As a result it provides enhancement of competitiveness of the private sector through company capacity strengthening, increasing the transparency of governance and the business environment. At the same time the EBA is increasing the level of integration and cooperation of Armenian and European companies through conducting appropriate activities for enlarging business connections, distributing information on corresponding requirements and other activities. The EBA is periodically organizing conferences, seminars business meetings, networking events for local and EU businesses operating in Armenia. Based on companiesโ€™ need assessment EBA is making proposals to the government on legislation issues that can potentially improve business climate in Armenia. The EBA is advocating the interests of privaye companies that have impediments and meet some difficulties in legal, tax, customs or any other sphere of business activity. EBA activities are complementing each other to get more comprehensive impact on business and investment environment improvement in Armenia. EBA Armenia is a part of a global network (European Business Organization World Wide Network) โ€“ representing 32 countries outside the EU including
Australia, Brazil, China, India, Kazakhstan, Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore and others.

Another packed day of discussions focused on Europeโ€™s competitiveness, industrial policy, and international business cooperation.

Highlights included meetings on:โ€จ๐Ÿ”น Supporting industrial forums, alliances, clusters, and SMEs with the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN)โ€จ๐Ÿ”น Better Regulation and policies that drive innovation and business growthโ€จ๐Ÿ”น Global cooperation with DG INTPAโ€จ๐Ÿ”น The Industrial Accelerator Act and ResourceEU initiativesโ€จ๐Ÿ”น The European Competitiveness Fund and Europeโ€™s industrial futureโ€จ๐Ÿ”น Advocacy and position papers, sharing best practices across the EBO network
The day concluded with the presentation of the EBO Business Sentiment Report, featuring insights from Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Korea, followed by a reception with colleagues and partners from across the EBO Worldwide Network.

A key takeaway: businesses across regions share common prioritiesโ€”predictable regulation, stronger competitiveness, strategic partnerships, and sustainable growth.

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ Day 2 of the EBO Worldwide - European Business Organizations Network asbl Global Annual Meeting in Brussels.

The European Business Association Armenia continues its participation in the ๐—˜๐—•๐—ข๐—ช๐—ช๐—ก Global Annual Meeting, bringing together representatives of European business organizations from across the globe.

The day focused on Europe's future competitiveness, economic security, trade policy, and investment opportunities. During discussions with representatives of the European Commission and the European Parliament, participants exchanged views on strengthening Europe's position in an increasingly dynamic global environment.

A key part of the agenda included regional discussions with DG ENEST, where Ludovic Ciechanowski presented the European Commission's priorities for the Europe Neighbourhood region and highlighted new investment opportunities for companies from Armenia and other Eastern Partnership countries.

We also had the opportunity to engage with Denis Redonnet, Deputy Director-General of DG Trade, and participate in a roundtable discussion at the European Parliament hosted by MEP Iuliu Winkler and MEP Jรถrgen Warborn, focusing on the EU's trade agenda, economic cooperation, and market access challenges.

The European Business Association Armenia was represented by Diana Sarumova alongside colleagues and partners from the region, including Mariana Rufa, Mariam Kuchuloria, Svitlana Mykhailovska, Alex Velyugo, Oibek Shaikhov, Jason Collins, Tadzio Schilling, and Erdene Elbegdorj.

The EBOWWN Annual General Meeting is taking place this week in Brussels under the coordination of the European Commissionโ€™s DG GROW, bringing together representatives from 60 countries worldwide.

European Business Association Armenia starts its ๐—˜๐—•๐—”๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ต ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ, and the first step was an online meeting held on May 20 between European Business Association Georgia and EBA Armenia. During the meeting, EBA Georgia members shared their valuable experience and insights from the successful implementation of the EBAYouth Academy with EBA Armenia members.๐Ÿค

This initiative aims to empower young people, foster leadership, and build a strong and sustainable network for future leaders within the EBA community.
