🇦🇲 ⛓️‍💥May 28 is not only the story of Armenia’s independence.
It is the story of a people who, through resistance, sacrifice, and determination at Sardarabad, Gharakilisa, and Bash Abaran, reclaimed the right to build a state of their own.

🔶The First Republic emerged in the aftermath of genocide, poverty, and mass displacement, as thousands of survivors from Western Armenia sought refuge in Eastern Armenia.

Yet from that devastation emerged a state built on ideals of representation, civic participation, women’s political rights, and democratic governance ahead of its time.

🔺Though the First Republic was short-lived, its ideals still contribute to shaping Armenia today.

🗓️ On May 9, 1992, the liberation of Shushi became the cornerstone of the liberation of Artsakh and one of the greatest victories in modern Armenian history.

📌Today, we honor all the soldiers, volunteers, and martyrs who fought for the White City and carved this victory into our national memory.

⛪️The enemy may destroy churches, desecrate streets, and attempt to erase the Armenian identity of Shushi — but history cannot be erased, and neither can the spirit of liberation living within our generation.

🇦🇲Shushi was Armenian.
Shushi is Armenian.
Shushi will remain Armenian.

No amount of destruction, occupation, or hatred can sever our connection to our historic city.

✊🏻We will return.
We will rebuild.
And the White City will shine Armenian once again.

🚨 In 2022, David Ishkhanyan called on the international community to speak against injustice in our region.

⛓️Today, from illegal detention in Baku, he speaks about human rights violations against Armenian hostages — among them, himself — and stands in defense of all those wrongfully detained and affected by these violations.

Որպէս Հ.Յ.Դ. Երիտասարդներ՝ երախտապարտ ենք մեր հողին ու երկրին համար ստեղծագործող մշակին ու բանուորին, աշխատող մարդուժին, եւ ապագայ սերունդներու դաստիարակութեան նուիրուած բոլոր գործիչներուն։

Աշխատանքը կեանքը կ’իմաստաւորէ, իսկ հաւաքականութեան եւ ազգին համար աշխատանքը սրբազան առաքելութիւն է։

Միասնաբար կրնանք մեր երկիրը դարձնել դրախտավայր, մեր կեանքը՝ բարեկեցիկ, եւ մեր ապագան՝ ապահով։

Այսօր կը յիշենք հայրենի հողին հետ շաղախուած մեր պապերուն քրտինքն ու տառապանքը եւ կը վերանորոգենք մեր ուխտը՝ տէր կանգնելու անոնց թողած ժառանգութեան՝ սիրելով, պահպանելով, ազատագրելով եւ զարգացնելով։

As ARF Youth, we express our deep gratitude to the farmers and workers who build our homeland, to the labor force that sustains it, and to all those devoted to educating future generations.

Work gives meaning to life, and when dedicated to the collective and the nation, it becomes a sacred mission.

📌Together, we can transform our country into a land of prosperity, our lives into well-being, and our future into security.

Today, we remember the sweat and struggle of our ancestors, fused with the soil of our homeland, and we renew our pledge to be worthy guardians of their legacy — by loving, preserving, liberating, and developing it.

👉🏼24 April, we commemorate the Armenian Genocide, in which over 1.5 million Armenians were systematically killed.

🌹🇪🇺As YES, we reaffirm our call for its recognition by Turkey and for reparations, because only through justice can genuine reconciliation and lasting peace be achieved.

✊🏼History has shown that impunity paves the way for new atrocities. From past genocides to ongoing crimes today, the lesson is clear: without recognition and accountability, injustice is repeated.

👉🏼We also condemn the forced displacement of over 150,000 Armenians from Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh, the destruction of Armenian cultural heritage, and the continued detention of Armenian hostages.

🌹Today, we stand for truth, justice, and human rights.
Recognition and accountability are the only path to prevent future atrocities.

Never again is now.

✊🏻🇦🇲Restitution and Justice — this is our demand.

We remember and honor the 1.5 million Armenian martyrs, and we vow to continue the struggle for our undeniable rights — for the liberation of our stolen lands, the protection of our destroyed cultural heritage, and the safeguarding of future generations.

We stand in solidarity with all nations facing ethnic cleansing and genocide today.

🔴 Justice must prevail. Perpetrators must be held accountable — so that such crimes are never committed again.
