ð May 21 is the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, established by UNESCO.
ðš Culture shapes how we see the world and how we connect with one another.
âš Cultural diversity means a society where people with different languages, traditions, experiences, and identities live together - and where every individual feels like a valued part of the community.
ð€ Diversity is not only about differences - it is the foundation of dialogue, mutual understanding, and peaceful coexistence.
ð In todayâs world, where distance and alienation between people are becoming increasingly common, intercultural relationships help us transform differences from barriers into opportunities for connection.
ð HEKS/EPER supports the promotion of cultural diversity and the strengthening of mutual understanding between communities. With the support of the European Union, we are implementing the project âDiversity for an Inclusive Future,â which aims to promote cultural diversity and strengthen interaction and mutual understanding between different communities through the use of shared cultural heritage.
ð¥ Part of this vision is the initiative âPeople for Georgia,â which brings together the stories of representatives of ethnic minorities who have made significant contributions to the development of Georgia.
