🌿 Happy Birthday, Maria Montessori! 🌿
Today, August 31, we celebrate the 156th birth anniversary of Dr. Maria Montessori, the visionary educator whose work transformed the way we understand children and education.
Born on August 31, 1870, Maria Montessori dedicated her life to observing, understanding, and supporting the natural development of the child. Her vision was built on respect, independence, freedom within limits, and the belief that every child has the potential to become a confident, capable, and compassionate human being.
✨ “The child is both a hope and a promise for mankind.”
More than a century later, her ideas continue to inspire educators, parents, and children around the world.
Today, we celebrate not only the woman who founded the Montessori method, but also the enduring vision she gave us: to follow the child, to prepare the environment, and to nurture a better future through education. 🌱
💚 From the Armenian Montessori Association, we wish the entire Montessori community a meaningful and inspiring Maria Montessori Birthday!
Happy Birthday, Dr. Maria Montessori! 🎂🌿
