Meetings at the Kind und Kegel Centre (Vienna) Have Become a Valued Tradition 🇦🇹

As part of another professional development program organized by INTOFF Armenia, participants conducted an in-depth comparative analysis of Austrian and Armenian approaches to cooperation with parents.

Professional observations, participation in a practical session, and subsequent discussions provided an opportunity not only to explore European experience, but also to critically evaluate its potential application within the Armenian educational context.

We would like to remind you that, following our previous visits, we have already published two scientific articles dedicated to the Austrian experience of cooperation with families.

Our collaboration continues. In the near future, together with the Kind und Kegel Centre, we will hold an international webinar entitled:

“Understanding Parents, Supporting Children: European Tools for Effective Family Partnership.”

The next important milestone will be the preparation and publication of a third scientific article in an international peer-reviewed journal.

This is how international educational programs evolve into much more than professional exchanges—they become a platform for genuine scientific research, continuous professional development, and long-term international cooperation.

We visited one of Vienna’s most modern educational complexes — Bildungscampus Aron Menczer. 🇦🇹📚

Here, under one roof, a kindergarten, a full-day school, a music school, and psychological-pedagogical support services are all integrated. The entire space is designed in such a way that learning, creativity, movement, and communication naturally complement one another. The campus is designed for approximately 1,350 children and is considered one of the most remarkable examples of contemporary educational architecture in Austria.

During the visit, INTOFF Armenia participants became familiar with the organization of the educational process, the principles of inclusive education, and modern approaches to working with children, and also took part in a professional meeting with Austrian colleagues.

Such visits provide an opportunity to experience European education not from books, but from within — through real-life practice, professional dialogue, and the exchange of best practices.

In recent days, I had the privilege of participating in an exceptional and highly valuable educational and cultural program in Vienna on the theme “Contemporary Methodological Approaches to Childcare and Parental Counseling.”

This experience provided not only an opportunity to acquire new knowledge, but also to gain first-hand insight into Austria’s modern approaches to education and parenting.

We visited the Kind & Kegel Parenting Center, where we were introduced to the center’s work and the comprehensive support it provides to families. What impressed me most was that not only mothers but also fathers actively collaborate with specialists and play a fully engaged role in their children’s development and upbringing. This culture of shared parental responsibility truly inspired me and is something I sincerely hope to see become more widespread in Armenia one day.

Our next destination was the Bildungscampus Kindergarten + Grundschule Vienna, an educational campus where the kindergarten and primary school operate as one integrated educational system based on the principles of openness, transparency, collaboration, and inclusive education. We received a warm welcome and took part in engaging professional discussions, a question-and-answer session, and a valuable exchange of experience. During our visit, we learned about their educational philosophy, organizational structure, and the effective methods they apply in their daily practice.

I am genuinely impressed by the Austrian approach to education, its strong professional culture, and the high values upon which it is built. Experiences like these not only enrich our professional knowledge but also broaden our perspective on how we can further develop education and parenting support in our own country.

I would like to express my special gratitude to INTOFF Armenia and Dr. Egishe Dashtoian for organizing this educational and cultural program at such a high professional level. Your personalized approach, sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and genuine care made this journey not only educational but also truly memorable.

📘 From July 26 to August 2, a group of 20 teachers from Armenia visited Vienna, Budapest, and Prague with the aim of broadening their professional knowledge, exploring the historical and cultural heritage of European countries, and exchanging educational and cultural experience.

📕 During the visit, participants explored the historical landmarks, museums, cultural treasures, and national traditions of the three countries. The knowledge and experience gained will later be applied in their teaching practice to foster students’ cultural awareness, curiosity, and appreciation of the world’s cultural heritage.

❤️ At the same time, the program strengthened cooperation among the participants and promoted teamwork, professional networking, effective communication, and the exchange of educational experience.

Over the years, I have become increasingly convinced of the truth of these words.

I am not a public official. I do not hold a government position.

Therefore, what follows is not an official statement. It is an independent professional opinion based on many years of experience organizing international educational programs and accompanying their participants.

Over the years, hundreds of teachers, psychologists, social workers, civil servants, lawyers, and professionals from many other fields have taken part in INTOFF Armenia’s international educational programs.

And there is one conclusion for which I am ready to stand by with my professional reputation.

I have never met a participant who returned from such a program as the same person they were when they left.

It is not only their knowledge that changes.

Their way of thinking changes.

Their attitude toward their profession changes.

Their worldview expands.

They develop a genuine desire to seek new ideas, continue learning, and grow.

That is why I firmly believe that every professional who has completed an international educational program returns at a new stage of professional development.

Not because they received a certificate.

But because they gained international experience.

International experience cannot be replaced by books, lectures, or online courses.

It must be lived.

That is why a certificate is far more than just an attractive document.

It is evidence that a person has been exposed to international best practices, compared different approaches, reflected on them, and acquired knowledge that simply cannot be gained without stepping beyond the borders of one’s own country.

Over the years, I have also come to realize another important truth.

Participating in an international educational program is not only about acquiring knowledge. It is also a unique test of responsibility, discipline, cooperation, patience, open-mindedness, and personal growth.

Every participant who successfully completes that journey has already demonstrated a willingness to learn, to change, to collaborate, and to grow.

INTOFF Armenia does more than organize international educational programs.

We bring together people who are committed to lifelong learning, who are open to the world, and who are ready to use their knowledge and experience in the service of their country’s development.

That is what we call the professional elite.
