-Eng below- Եվրոպական կինոփառատոն 2026-ի շրջանակում Երևանի Կինոյի տան «Լորիկ» դահլիճում տեղի ունեցավ Վավերագրական կինոպրոդյուսերության աշխատարանի փիչինգը՝ համախմբելով երիտասարդ կինոգործիչներին Հայաստանից, Վրաստանից և Իրանից։
Հանդիպման ընթացքում մասնակիցները ներկայացրին իրենց վավերագրական ֆիլմերի նախագծերը, որոնք շուրջ մեկ շաբաթ քննարկվում էին իսպանա-գերմանացի պրոդյուսեր Շտեֆանի ֆոն Լուկովիչի ղեկավարած աշխատարանի ընթացքում։ Pitching-ը մոդերացնում էր հենց ինքը՝ Շտեֆանի ֆոն Լուկովիչը։ Տեղական ժյուրին՝ «Ոսկե ծիրան» կինոփառատոնի գեղարվեստական ղեկավար Կարեն Ավետիսյանը, համադրող և «Ոսկե ծիրան» ՄԿՓ-ի Տարածաշրջանային մրցույթի համակարգող Սոնա Կարապողոսյանը և Երևանի Թատրոնի և կինոյի պետական ինստիտուտի ռեկտոր Սառա Նալբանդյանը ներկա էին դահլիճում, իսկ միջազգային ժյուրին, որի կազմում էին Զանե Բալկուսը՝ Baltic Sea Docs-ից, Վերոնիկա Յանատկովան՝ Պրահայի Դոկումենտալ կինոյի ինստիտուտի East Doc Platform-ից, և Վիկտորյա Լեշչենկոն՝ DokLeipzig-ից, մասնակցում էին առցանց ձևաչափով։
Ներկայացված նախագծերը բացահայտեցին անձնական, սոցիալական և քաղաքական թեմաներով բազմազան պատմություններ՝ միաժամանակ ստեղծելով կարևոր հարթակ մասնագիտական փոխանակման, հետադարձ կապի և տարածաշրջանի երիտասարդ կինոգործիչների միջև ապագա համագործակցությունների համար։

As part of the European Film Festival 2026, the pitching session of the Documentary Producing Workshop took place in the Lorik Hall of the Cinema House in Yerevan, bringing together emerging filmmakers from Armenia, Georgia, and Iran.
During the session, participants presented their documentary film project pitches, developed throughout the workshop led by Spanish/German producer Stephanie von Lukowicz. The pitching was moderated by Stephanie von Lukowicz herself and attended by local jury members – Golden Apricot IFF artistic director Karen Avetisyan, GAIFF Regional program curator Sona Karapoghosyan and Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema rector Sara Nalbandayn - in person, while international jurors - Zane Balčus from Baltic Sea Docs, Veronika Janatková from East Doc Platform and Victoria Leshchenko from DokLeipzig, joined the session online.
The presentations reflected a wide range of personal, social, and politically engaged narratives, while also creating an important space for professional exchange, feedback, and future collaboration between young filmmakers from the region.
Stay tuned for the pitching results, which will be announced during the closing ceremony of the European Film Festival 2026 on May 27, in the Grand Hall of the Cinema House.

-Eng below- Այս կիրակի Եվրոպական կինոփառատոն 2026-ի շրջանակում կինոգործիչներ, պրոդյուսերներ, մշակութային ոլորտի ներկայացուցիչներ և աշխատարանի մասնակիցներ հավաքվել էին «Վարպետ»-ում կայացած Industry Brunch-ի շրջանակում՝ ոչ ֆորմալ հանդիպման, որը միտված էր փոխանակման, երկխոսության և տարածաշրջանային կինոհամայնքում նոր կապերի ստեղծմանը։
Բրանչի ընթացքում տեղի ունեցավ քննարկում Վավերագրական ֆիլմի արտադրության աշխատարանի մասնակիցների հետ, որը վարում էր իսպանա-գերմանացի պրոդյուսեր Ստեֆանի ֆոն Լուկովիչը, իսկ քննարկումը մոդերացնում էր Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ներկայացուցիչ Անետ Կրախտը։ Զրույցը անդրադարձավ ժամանակակից վավերագրական կինոյի զարգացող պրակտիկաներին, տարածաշրջանային համագործակցության հնարավորություններին, ինչպես նաև երիտասարդ կինոգործիչների առջև ծառացած մարտահրավերներին և հեռանկարներին։
Նույն օրը ավելի ուշ «Վարպետ»-ում տեղի ունեցավ նաև Ստեֆանի ֆոն Լուկովիչի հետ հանդիպումը, որի ընթացքում նա կիսվեց իր մասնագիտական փորձով և գործնական խորհուրդներով, որոնք հատկապես օգտակար էին սկսնակ կինոգործիչների և երիտասարդ պրոդյուսերների համար։
Համախմբելով հյուրերի Հայաստանից, Վրաստանից, Իրանից և Եվրոպայից՝ միջոցառումը ստեղծեց բաց և ջերմ միջավայր՝ փորձի, գաղափարների և ապագա համագործակցությունների շուրջ շփումների համար։

This Sunday, within the framework of the European Film Festival 2026, filmmakers, producers, cultural professionals, and workshop participants gathered at Varpet for the Industry Brunch — an informal networking event dedicated to exchange, dialogue, and new connections within the regional film community.
The brunch featured a conversation with participants of the Documentary Producing Workshop led by Spanish-German producer Stephanie von Lukowicz, moderated by Annet Kragt from the EU Delegation to Armenia. The discussion touched upon emerging documentary practices, regional collaboration, and the challenges and possibilities facing young filmmakers today.
Later that day, Varpet also hosted Stephanie von Lukowicz’s public talk, during which she shared insights from her professional experience and offered practical advice especially valuable for emerging film professionals and young producers.
Bringing together guests from Armenia, Georgia, Iran, and Europe, the event created a welcoming space for sharing experiences, ideas, and future collaborations.

✨✨✨ On 7 May 2026, the Policy Forum on Culture at the Komitas Museum brought together Armenia and Europe’s leading voices in cultural policy, innovation, and cooperation.

We were honored by the opening remarks of Zhanna Andreasyan and Vassilis Maragos, setting the tone for a forward-looking dialogue on strengthening cultural ties between Armenia and the European Union.

From the progress of Armenia’s Cultural Strategy to the role of EU programmes like Creative Europe and EU4Culture, the discussions highlighted:
- the growing importance of culture as a driver of development and diplomacy
- the potential of digital innovation and cultural tourism
- the value of collaborative platforms and networks such as EUNIC

💬 Inspiring exchanges across two dynamic panels reinforced a shared commitment to: partnership, innovation, and long-term impact in the cultural and creative sectors.

🤝 The evening concluded with a vibrant networking reception - turning dialogue into connection, and ideas into future collaborations.

‼️Open Call: Organization of the New European Bauhaus Conference 2026 in Armenia

The Goethe-Institut Armenia, in partnership with the EU Delegation to Armenia and EUNIC, announces an open call for local organizations and initiatives in Armenia to propose and implement the New European Bauhaus (NEB) Conference 2026.

The conference will be organized within the framework of EU cultural cooperation initiatives and aims to foster dialogue between culture, architecture, design, sustainability, and community practices, reflecting the core values of the New European Bauhaus: sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusion.

🔵Purpose of the Call
The call aims to identify a professional organization or initiative capable of developing and implementing a concept-driven public conference that connects European and Armenian perspectives on sustainable and inclusive cultural and spatial practices.

Given the interdisciplinary nature of the New European Bauhaus, the conference is expected to actively bridge different knowledge fields and professional practices. Cross-sectoral perspectives are seen as a key contribution to the quality, relevance, and impact of the event.

🔵Eligibility
Applications are open to:
📍Non-profit organizations, cultural institutions, creative initiatives, and professional platforms based in Armenia
📍Applicants with proven experience in organizing conferences, public programs, or interdisciplinary cultural events
📍Cross-sectoral collaboration is strongly recommended. Applications submitted jointly by organizations from different fields - such as art and culture, academia, civil society, architecture, design, or sustainability - are particularly encouraged.

🔵Scope of the Project
The selected organization will be responsible for:

📍Developing the conference concept and program aligned with New European Bauhaus priorities
📍Proposing local and international speakers (including experts from EU countries)
📍Managing organizational and production aspects of the event
📍Coordinating communication and visibility in cooperation with project partners

🔵Application Requirements
Applicants should submit:

📍A concept note (theme, structure, and proposed format of the conference)
📍Preliminary list of speakers or profiles of potential contributors
📍Work plan and timeline
📍Preliminary budget outlining main cost categories
📍Portfolio of relevant previous projects

🔵Format and Timing
The conference is planned to take place in late 2026 in Armenia (exact dates and venue to be agreed with the partners) and should include public discussions, presentations, and interdisciplinary exchange formats.

Հաշվի առնելով Նոր Եվրոպական Բաուհաուսի միջոլորտային բնույթը՝ համաժողովից ակնկալվում է ակտիվորեն կապակցել տարբեր գիտելիքային ոլորտներն ու մասնագիտական պրակտիկաները։ Միջոլորտային մոտեցումները դիտարկվում են որպես միջոցառման որակի, արդիականության և ազդեցության կարևոր բաղադրիչ։

📍Միջոլորտային համագործակցությունը խիստ խրախուսվում է։ Առանձնապես ողջունելի են արվեստի և մշակույթի, ակադեմիական միջավայրի, քաղաքացիական հասարակության, ճարտարապետության, դիզայնի կամ կայուն զարգացման կազմակերպությունների համատեղ ներկայացված հայտերը։

Ընտրված կազմակերպությունը պատասխանատու կլինի՝

📍Նոր Եվրոպական Բաուհաուսի առաջնահերթություններին համապատասխան կոնֆերանսի գաղափարի և ծրագրի մշակման համար
📍Տեղական և միջազգային բանախոսների առաջարկման համար (ներառյալ ԵՄ երկրներից փորձագետներ)

Curatorial / Collective Proposal for an Exhibition in Yerevan

The Goethe-Institut Armenia, in cooperation with the EU Delegation to Armenia, announces an open call for curatorial and collective proposals for an exhibition to be realized in November 2026 in Yerevan within the framework of the EU cultural program.
The program invites curators, artists, artist collectives, and cultural initiatives to propose an exhibition project that reflects on some of the most pressing questions shaping contemporary societies today.
Conceptual Framework
(Working title: Interdependent Futures)
Across the world, societies are facing multiple and interconnected challenges: climate change and environmental transformation, ongoing conflicts and their social consequences, and continuing struggles for equality and social justice. These realities affect everyday life, reshape political and social environments, and influence how communities imagine the future.

Applicants are invited to propose exhibition concepts that engage with themes such as:
• climate change and ecological transformation
• feminist perspectives and practices of care
• anti-war positions, peace-building, and the impact of conflict
• solidarity, coexistence, and collective futures
Proposals may focus on one or several of these themes, explore connections between them, or introduce new perspectives addressing urgent contemporary realities.

The call particularly welcomes collective approaches and collaborative formats, as well as projects that encourage dialogue across disciplines, communities, and geographic contexts.

📍Eligibility
Applications are open to:
• individual curators
• artists with a curatorial proposal
• artist collectives
• curatorial groups
• cultural organizations or initiatives
International collaborations are strongly encouraged, especially projects involving participants from Armenia and European countries.

📍Responsibilities of Selected Applicants
Selected applicants will act as organizers and curators of the exhibition, responsible for:
• developing the curatorial concept and exhibition structure
• identifying and coordinating participating artists
• working in collaboration with the organizers on the production and realization of the exhibition.
Further organizational and production details will be discussed with the selected applicant(s).

• preliminary list of participating artists or contributors (if applicable)

Ծրագիրը հրավիրում է կուրատորներին, արվեստագետներին, արվեստագետների կոլեկտիվներին և մշակութային նախաձեռնություններին ներկայացնել ցուցահանդեսային նախագիծ, որը կանդրադառնա ժամանակակից հասարակությունները ձևավորող կարևորագույն հարցերին։

Աշխարհի տարբեր հասարակություններ այսօր բախվում են փոխկապակցված բազմաթիվ մարտահրավերների՝ կլիմայի փոփոխություն և բնապահպանական վերափոխումներ, շարունակվող հակամարտություններ և դրանց սոցիալական հետևանքներ, ինչպես նաև հավասարության և սոցիալական արդարության համար շարունակվող պայքար։ Այս իրողությունները ազդում են առօրյա կյանքի վրա, վերափոխում են քաղաքական և սոցիալական միջավայրը և ազդում են այն բանի վրա, թե ինչպես են համայնքները պատկերացնում ապագան։
Դիմորդները հրավիրվում են առաջարկել ցուցահանդեսային նախագծեր, որոնք անդրադառնում են հետևյալ թեմաներին.

• կլիմայի փոփոխություն և էկոլոգիական վերափոխում
• ֆեմինիստական մոտեցումներ և խնամքի պրակտիկաներ
• հակապատերազմական դիրքորոշումներ, խաղաղաշինություն և հակամարտությունների ազդեցություն
• համերաշխություն, համակեցություն և կոլեկտիվ ապագաներ
Առաջարկները կարող են կենտրոնանալ մեկ կամ մի քանի թեմաների վրա, ուսումնասիրել դրանց փոխկապակցվածությունը կամ ներկայացնել նոր տեսանկյուններ՝ անդրադառնալով ժամանակակից հրատապ հարցերին։
Հատկապես ողջունվում են կոլեկտիվ մոտեցումները և համագործակցային ձևաչափերը, ինչպես նաև նախագծեր, որոնք խթանում են երկխոսությունը տարբեր ոլորտների, համայնքների և աշխարհագրական միջավայրերի միջև։

Ընտրված դիմորդների պարտականությունները
Ընտրված դիմորդները հանդես կգան որպես ցուցահանդեսի կազմակերպիչներ և կուրատորներ՝ պատասխանատու լինելով
• կուրատորական հայեցակարգի և ցուցահանդեսի կառուցվածքի մշակման համար
• մասնակցող արվեստագետների ընտրության և համակարգման համար
• կազմակերպիչների հետ համագործակցությամբ ցուցահանդեսի արտադրության և իրականացման համար
Լրացուցիչ կազմակերպչական և արտադրական մանրամասները կքննարկվեն ընտրված դիմորդ(ներ)ի հետ։
