🌱 One infected leaf can cost a farmer an entire year’s income.

Hayk, Arjun, and Thu created SEEDR, a solution that quickly and accurately detects crop diseases from a single photo of a leaf even without an internet connection and provides a suitable treatment recommendation. 📱🌿

This helps farmers prevent crop losses in time, reduce pesticide use, and grow healthier crops. SEEDR is one of the 10 projects participating in the 2026 program. We are introducing each project separately, but you can also explore all the projects and choose your favorite.

🌷 Sometimes, all it takes to start a new career is access to the right opportunity.

Zina and Ararat, who were displaced from Artsakh, are creating an online learning platform where women and girls can learn design, floristry, and other practical skills that can open the door to new income opportunities.

At the heart of the initiative is the idea of “Women Supporting Women,” with a special focus on women.

🚗 Finding a parking spot in Yerevan can often be a real headache. Emin and Ishkhan’s solution is SpotSwap, a P2P platform that connects drivers looking for parking with those who are leaving their spot at that exact moment.

By doing so, SpotSwap can help reduce unnecessary driving around, traffic congestion, fuel consumption, and emissions. 🌱

Young people in Ararat are missing a permanent space where they can meet, learn, exchange ideas, and grow within their own community.

Maria and her friends believe Ararat Hub can create exactly that environment by bringing together a café, education, and community life. The space will host workshops, practical training sessions, meetups, and cultural events. 🗣

🤝 As a social enterprise, Ararat Hub will reinvest its income into the education and development of young people in Ararat and nearby communities.

The algae biomass produced in the process can later be used to make eco-friendly fertilizers and other organic products. ♻️

🌱 Going to the field every time you need to check soil conditions is not always possible or convenient.

🤖 Nare is introducing the Eco Monitor, a small, affordable AI-powered robot that monitors soil and environmental conditions and helps farmers make better decisions at the right time.

It measures soil and air temperature and humidity, analyzes the data, and gives practical recommendations, such as when to water. This can help save time, water, and other resources.

Border town Vardenis has a lot to offer visitors, but it is still far from being a popular travel destination. Varuzhan, Nina, and Ishkhan want to change that.

Instead of leaving their hometown in search of work, they decided to create opportunities right there, for themselves and for other young people in the region.
🙌🏻

Vardenis Tourism Lab brings tourism and education together, serving as a starting point for discovering Vardenis. Visitors can stay overnight, grab a coffee, relax, get local travel information, and explore the hidden gems of Vardenis together with local young people.

Vardenis Tourism Lab is one of the 10 projects in Social Impact Award 2026. We’ll be introducing each of them separately soon, but you can already explore all the ideas and choose your favorite.
