Crossroads of Peace Since 1999 we organizing numerous intercultural programs and events. “Armenia on the crossroads of Peace” International folk festival was founded in 2011.

Each year on September we are organizing our festival. 5 days of program includes parades, concerts, games, master classes and ethnic food festival and variety of excursions and meetings in different villages and cities of Armenia. Till now we hosted more that 30 groups from different countries such as “Valle di Comino” and “Samugheo” (Italy), “Nuance” and “Haskovo” (Bulgharia), “Wielkopolanie” a

nd “Szamotuły” (Poland), “Valašský Vojvoda” (Czech Republic), “Ratilio” (Lithuania), “Saucejas” (Latvia), “Khorush” (Iran) etc.

Our Story

“Crossroads of peace” international folk festival has been taking place in Armenia since 2011 by “Revival of traditional festivals” NGO and “Tonatsuyts” folk group. It is one of the few authentic festivals of folk music, song. dances and food, which join people around roots and idea of “folklore for peace”.

Traditionally, the festival takes place in the middle of September in 2018; September 8–12! Along with already well known traditional events (such as Events in Tonatsuyts center and art academy, ethnic food presentation, event in museum, concert in philharmonic hall and others, as well as traditional instruments, singing and dancing workshops, a lot of interesting meetings and excursions etc.).
