Oxfam in Armenia

Oxfam in Armenia Oxfam is a vibrant global movement of dedicated people fighting poverty and injustice. That's Oxfam in action.
(27)

From saving lives and developing projects that put poor people in charge of their lives and livelihoods, to campaigning for change that lasts.

Oxfam has been working in Armenia for a decade, since starting in 1994 to help refugees displaced by the conflict with neighbouring Azerbaijan. Now we are helping to advocate for greater awareness of health rights, create new business opportunities for small-scale farmers, integrate disaster preparedness into our programme and amplifying the voices of poor people, especially women, at government level.
