On July 31, 2026, AmCham Armenia welcomed its members to another memorable Friday Night, celebrating the spirit of the season with a Greek Summer Escape.

Hosted by our venue partner, Holiday Inn Yerevan–Republic Square's Ember Bar & Restaurant, the evening began with a networking session, bringing together members and guests in a vibrant summer atmosphere. The event officially opened with welcoming remarks by AmCham Armenia President Elina Markaryan, AmCham Armenia Executive Director Anna Nersesyants and Holiday Inn Yerevan–Republic Square General Manager Arman Avedisyan.

The evening then continued with a lively Greek-themed quiz, where one of our members put their knowledge of ancient Greece to the test and won special prizes.🏆

💃 One of the evening's highlights was an interactive Sirtaki dance masterclass led by dance instructor Ani Khachatryan, who organizes and conducts a variety of thematic dance workshops, including Greek, Armenian, and other customized experiences. Participants learned the iconic Greek dance step by step before coming together for a final performance.

Guests also discovered the tradition of Greek plate smashing, learning about its cultural significance and symbolism. The celebration concluded with a performance by Ani Khachatryan and her dance partner, accompanied by the traditional showering of rose petals, a Greek gesture of admiration and celebration.

At the end, each guest received a small bottle containing an inspiring Greek proverb, offering everyone a quote to take home as a personal motto from the evening.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made this Friday Night vibrant and memorable.

With nearly 15 years of professional experience in HR management, People & Culture, organizational development, learning and development, business advisory, quality management, and customer experience, Lilit has successfully led HR consulting and transformation projects for more than 20 organizations across Armenia and the region.

🤝 On July 13, 2026, AmCham Armenia and the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen public-private cooperation in preparation for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP17).

Through this partnership, AmCham Armenia will support greater private sector engagement among the business community to contribute to Armenia’s successful hosting of COP17.

The cooperation will focus on promoting initiatives related to biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, and the sustainable use of natural resources. As part of this initiative, AmCham Armenia will organize the Business & Biodiversity Dialogue Day within the COP17 Green Zone, featuring panel discussions, thematic sessions, and the showcase of special case study of the field.

Through the expertise of its membership, including multinational companies, AmCham Armenia will showcase international best practices and innovative sustainability solutions.

We thank the Ministry of Environment for this partnership and look forward to continued collaboration toward a successful and impactful COP17.

ՆԱԻՐԻ ԻՆՇՈՒՐԱՆՍԻ արդեն 2-րդ Executive Health Breakfast-ը համախմբել էր Հայաստանում Ամերիկայի առևտրի պալատի (AmCham Armenia) անդամ ընկերությունների ներկայացուցիչներին՝ քննարկելու առողջ ապրելակերպի և աշխատակիցների առողջության մեջ ներդրում կատարելու կարևորության մասին։

Միջոցառումը ողջույնի խոսքով բացեց AmCham Armenia-ի նախագահ Էլինա Մակարյանը:

Սննդաբան Լիդիա Այվազյանը խոսեց ճիշտ սնվելու և առողջ առօրյա սովորությունների կարևորության մասին։

The event was opened with welcoming remarks by Elina Makaryan, President of AmCham Armenia.

Nutritionist Lidia Ayvazyan spoke about the importance of healthy eating and building sustainable everyday habits.

🔸 We are pleased to share an update on the progress of the "Climate-Smart Agri-Business Hub: Raspberry & Lavender Social Enterprise" project. Initiated by the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF), this project was selected as the social cause of AmCham Armenia's Christmas Charity Gala Dinner 2025, with the funds raised during the evening dedicated to supporting its implementation.

With the end of the first phase focused on project preparation and technical assessment, the representatives have laid the foundation for the actions ahead.

Particularly, this stage included activities such as technical site assessments, water sample collection and laboratory testing, and system design planning. It also included obtaining the necessary permits and finalizing the implementation of logistics and procurement planning.
