Ապրիլի 25-ին Ֆիլադելֆիայում կայացած Armenian Heritage Walk գալայի ժամանակ մեր նախագահ Էդիլ Հովնանյանը արժանացավ «Գերազանցության մրցանակի»՝ դառնալով սերունդներ շարունակ հայ համայնքին ծառայած յոթ նշանավոր ամերիկաբնակ հայերից մեկը։

Մրցանակը փաստում է ոչ միայն Հ. Հովնանյան ընտանեկան գրասենյակի ղեկավարման նրա փորձառությունը, այլև Հ. Հովնանյան ընտանեկան հիմնադրամի միջոցով իրականացված տասնամյակների բարեգործական նվիրումը, որը տարեկան ավելի քան 10 միլիոն դոլար է հատկացնում ամրապնդելու հայ ժողովրդի ու Հայաստանի նպատակները։

[ENG] A proud moment for the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation.

On April 25, our President Edele Hovnanian received an Award for Excellence at the Armenian Heritage Walk Gala in Philadelphia — one of seven distinguished Armenian Americans honored for their contributions to the community across generations.

The award recognizes not only her leadership of the H. Hovnanian Family Office, but her decades of philanthropic commitment through the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation, which donates over $10 million a year to causes that strengthen Armenia and its people.

[ARM] Հ․ Հովնանյան ընտանեկան հիմնադրամի աջակցությամբ Գարեգին Եղոյանի հիմնադրած ԱՐԽկուպ ճարտարապետական արվեստանոցի ճարտարապետ Ալեքսանդր Վարդանյանը մասնակցեց Մայամիում կայացած WAF 2025 (Համաշխարհային ճարտարապետական փառատոն) «Out of Context» ցուցահանդեսին:

Ցուցահանդեսի շրջանակներում Ալեքսանդրը որպես ժամանակակից հայկական ճարտարապետության օրինակ ներկայացրեց Վայոց Ձորի Ռինդ գյուղում ԱՐԽկուպ արվեստանոցի նախագծով կառուցված առանձնատունը, որն իր ծավալատարածական լուծումներով և նախագծային փիլիսոփայությամբ համապատասխանում էր ցուցահանդեսին։ «Հյուրերի մեծ մասը զարմացած էր ժամանակակից հայկական ճարտարապետության որակից» - պատմում է նա։

Երեք օրերի ընթացքում Ալեքսանդրը փորձի փոխանակում ունեցավ Գերմանիայից, Շվեյցարիայից, Չինաստանից, Ավստրալիայից և այլ երկրներից ժամանած ճարտարապետների հետ: Նա մասնակցեց հարցազրույցների և կլոր սեղան քննարկումների, որի ընթացքում ներկայացվեցին առանձնատան նախագծի իրականացման ողջ ընթացքն և ձեռքբերումները:
«Մեր հիմնական նպատակն էր ճանաչելիություն ձեռք բերել՝ թե՛ մեզ համար, թե՛ հայկական ճարտարապետության համար»։

Առաքելությունը կատարված է։ Եվ սա միայն սկիզբն է։

[ENG] With the support of the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation, Alexander Vardanyan, architect at Garegin Yeghoyan’s ARCHcoop Architectural Studio, participated in the “Out of Context” exhibition at WAF 2025 (World Architecture Festival) in Miami.

As part of the exhibition, Alexander presented a private residence designed by ARCHcoop, built in the village of Rind, Vayots Dzor. The project was selected for its spatial solutions and design philosophy, representing an example of contemporary Armenian architecture. “Most visitors were surprised by the quality of modern Armenian architecture,” he noted.
Over the course of three days, Alexander exchanged experience with architects from Germany, Switzerland, China, Australia, and other countries. He also took part in interviews and roundtable discussions, where the full process and achievements of the project were presented.

“Our main goal was to gain recognition - both for ourselves and for Armenian architecture.”

Mission accomplished. And this is only the beginning.

[ARM] 2026 թվականի մարտին Հ․ Հովնանյան ընտանեկան հիմնադրամը 240,000 ԱՄՆ դոլարի դրամաշնորհ է տրամադրել Հայաստանի երիտասարդների հզորացմանն ուղղված տարբեր ծրագրերի:

Կրթության, սպորտի, գիտության և քաղաքացիական իրազեման ոլորտների կազմակերպությունները ստացել են ֆինանսավորում՝ հայ երիտասարդներին միջազգային ասպարեզում հաջողության հասնելու համար անհրաժեշտ գործիքներով ապահովելու նպատակով։

Հպարտ ենք աջակցել մեր երիտասարդների համար ավելի լավ ապագայի կերտմանը:

[ARM] Հայաստանի հեռավոր գյուղերում մեկ գնդակը կարող է դառնալ ազատության և ինքնահաստատման խորհրդանիշ։

GOALS հիմնադրամը ֆուտբոլի միջոցով հզորացնում է մարզաբնակ աղջիկներին Հայաստանի բոլոր 10 մարզերում՝ տարեկան ներգրավելով ավելի քան 1000 աղջկա։ Հ․ Հովնանյան ընտանեկան հիմնադրամի 240,000 դոլարի դրամաշնորհի շնորհիվ «Rise Girls in Motion» ծրագիրը կոտրում է կարծրատիպերը և կերտում վաղվա առաջնորդներին։

«Իրականության մեջ կյանքը թիմային սպորտ է», ասում է Թենի Ավագյանը՝ GOALS-ի գործադիր տնօրենը։ «Մենք փորձում ենք հասանելի դարձնել այն, ինչն իրենց պատկերացմամբ իրենց համար երբևիցե չի եղել»։

[ENG] In remote Armenian villages, one soccer ball can become a symbol of freedom and self-determination.

GOALS Foundation uses football to empower rural girls across all 10 regions of Armenia, reaching over 1,000 girls annually. With support from the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation’s $240,000 grant, the “Rise Girls in Motion” program is breaking stereotypes and building tomorrow’s leaders.

“In reality, life is a team sport,” says Teni Avagyan, GOALS Executive Director. “We’re trying to make accessible what they’ve been told was never for them.”

Today, girls who once couldn’t dream of playing sports are now on national teams, traveling, and earning as professional athletes.

[ARM] Հ. Հովնանյան ընտանեկան հիմնադրամի 2025 թվականի տարեկան հաշվետվության մեջ ամփոփված են յուրաքանչյուր ծրագրի վերաբերյալ պատմություններ, որոնք ցույց են տալիս ծրագրերի ազդեցությունն ու դրանց հանգեցրած նշանակալի փոփոխությունները։

Հիմնադրամը շարունակաբար խթանում է Հայաստանի զարգացումը՝ իրականացնելով ծրագրեր կրթության, առողջապահության, շրջակա միջավայրի, սփյուռքի ներգրավման և այլ ոլորտներում՝ ցուցադրելով երկարաժամկետ զարգացման նկատմամբ իր հանձնառությունը։ Birthright Armenia-ի և AVC-ի մեջ կատարված ներդրումների, տարբեր կրթաթոշակային ծրագրերի, տնտեսական զարգացման նախաձեռնությունների և առողջապահության ոլորտում կատարված ներդրումների միջոցով Հ. Հովնանյան հիմնադրամը շարունակաբար մատնանշում է հնարավորություններ, որոնք ընդգրկում են ինչպես Հայաստանը, այնպես էլ Միացյալ նահանգները։

Հովնանյան ընտանեկան հիմնադրամն ավելի քան 290,000 դոլարի դրամաշնորհներ է տրամադրել Հայաստանում ինը բնապահպանական նախաձեռնությունների՝ աջակցելով երկրի ողջ տարածքում կարևորագույն էկոլոգիական մարտահրավերներին դիմակայելու ջանքերին: Գետերի վերականգնումից և կենսաբազմազանության պաշտպանությունից մինչև երիտասարդների կրթություն, ջրի որակի հետազոտություն և կլիմայական պատրաստվածություն, այս նախագծերն ամրապնդում են տեղական կարողությունները և խթանում շրջակա միջավայրի երկարաժամկետ պահպանությանը: Մի շարք նախաձեռնություններ նաև կնպաստեն Հայաստանում 2026 թվականին COP17-ը հյուրընկալելու նախապատրաստական ​​աշխատանքներին՝ օգտագործելով այս համաշխարհային հարթակը՝ շրջակա միջավայրի վերաբերյալ իրազեկվածությունն ու գործողությունները խթանելու համար:

Hovnanian Family Foundation awarded over $290,000 in grants to nine environmental initiatives across Armenia, supporting efforts to address critical ecological challenges nationwide. From river restoration and biodiversity protection to youth education, water quality research, and climate readiness, these projects strengthen local capacity and foster long-term environmental stewardship. Several initiatives will also contribute to Armenia’s preparations for hosting COP17 in 2026, using this global platform to advance environmental awareness and action.

[ARM] Սուրբ Ծննդյան այս օրը Երևանում՝ «Մերգերյան Կարպետ» կենտրոնում մենք հպարտ ենք արժևորելու մեր շրջանավարտների համայնքը՝ կազմված դրամաշնորհառուներից, Birthright Armenia-ից, AVC-ից, iGorts-ից և Fulbright-ից, այն արժեքավոր աշխատանքը, որը նրանք շարունակում են իրականացնել։ Երեկոն լի էր ծանոթ դեմքերով, ջերմ զրույցներով և հայկական ավանդական երաժշտության ու պարի հնչյուններով։

Կից տեսանյութում կարող եք ծանոթանալ, թե ինչպես ենք մեր դրամաշնորհային ծրագրերն աջակցում գիտնականներին, արվեստագետներին, մարզիկներին և տարբեր ոլորտների մասնագետներին՝ Հայաստանը ներկայացնելու աշխարհի տարբեր հարթակներում։

[ENG] On this Christmas Day, we’re proud to celebrate our alumni community from Fellows, Birthright Armenia, AVC, iGorts, and Fulbright at Megerian Carpet in Yerevan, and the meaningful work they continue to do. It was a night full of familiar faces, great conversations, and the sounds of traditional Armenian music and dance.

In the video above, we share how the Armenian Fellowships program supports academics, artists, athletes, and professionals as they represent Armenia around the world. In 2025, more than 290 fellowships made it possible for Armenians to travel to nearly 50 countries - including 21 new destinations - and take part in conferences, competitions, and cultural events on international stages.

Hear from fellowship recipients Araz Chiloyan, a public health expert, and Hovhannes Khzmalyan, a Paralympic athlete, as they talk about how these grants helped them share their work globally and bring new knowledge and experience back to Armenia.
