A fantastic youth exchange has wrapped up this September, leaving everyone with unforgettable memories and new skills! 🎉

Colibri Youth Center was thrilled to be a part of this journey alongside ISSD NGO. We brought together an amazing, truly international group of young people from Armenia, Italy, Poland, Malta, Argentina, Uruguay, and Tatarstan!

Over the course of the exchange, participants dove into a rich variety of non-formal education activities designed to foster cross-cultural learning, leadership, and personal growth. From dynamic workshops and team-building challenges to vibrant cultural nights and creative projects, the experience was packed with energy and connection. 🤝💡

It was inspiring to see new friendships form across borders and to witness the incredible impact of youth collaboration. Until the next adventure! 👋

🍂🧣 New season means new trends.

And just like that, last season’s must-haves are suddenly outdated.

But what happens to all the clothes that don’t get sold?

In the EU, they’re not supposed to just disappear.

Since July 2026, large companies in the EU can no longer destroy unsold clothes, shoes and clothing accessories.

Instead, they'll need to:
🛍️ Sell them, including through discounts or alternative markets
💚 Donate them to charities or social enterprises
🔄 Reuse them
♻️ Recycle them

For medium-sized companies, the ban will apply as of 2030.

This ban will prevent wasting valuable products, including the resources and raw materials used to make them, while also reducing their environmental and climate impact.

Escape the digital noise and join us for a unique Erasmus+ Training Course!

This project is a pressure-free sanctuary designed for youth workers and creators seeking deeper meaning. We'll explore:
🧘 Digital Wellbeing Tools
🎬 Amateur Stop-Motion Animation
🧠 Deep Focus & Mindfulness

You'll discover how simple tools, even your smartphone, can be used for deep, tactile creation, requiring you to deliberately slow down and find presence.
Profile: Youth workers, young leaders, and volunteers from the Czech Republic.
Age: 20+
Where: Puck, Poland (Baltic Sea Coast Venue) 🌊
When: October 19th - 27th, 2026 (Travel days included).

Cost: 💰 ALL costs covered by the Erasmus+ Programme! (travel within Erasmus+ distance calculator rates, accommodation, and food)

Just like that, the incredible 7-day heart of our Play Lingua adventure has wrapped up! 💖 From September 4–11, we called the cozy mountains of Bukowina Tatrzańska, Poland, our home.
​What a week it’s been—a beautiful, messy, joyful deep-dive into the colorful worlds of both language learning and games. 🌍🗣️✨ We didn't just play; we explored the challenges of connecting across languages, embraced non-formal education, and brainstormed from scratch.
​The magic really happened when we rolled up our sleeves to create our own educational board games. From the first spark of an idea and messy prototyping to play-testing and polishing the final tips, it was a true team effort. 🃏💡 We’re so excited to say this brand-new game will be published for the world to use very soon! 🚀
​Of course, we also snuck in some amazing cultural nights, shared so many laughs, and even got outdoors for a study visit to the Tatra National Park and a hike in Zakopane, as we shared earlier in the week. 🏔️🌲 It was the perfect way to connect with the stunning local nature.
​To our brilliant participants: thank you. Your energy, creativity, and beautiful human spirits made this week unforgettable. You are the heart of this project! ❤️
​A huge, warm hug of gratitude to my fantastic colleague and facilitator, Magda, for guiding us with such warmth and wisdom. Karina Manukyan, founder of Colibri Youth Development Center and facilitator of our Play Lingua training course,together with Natalia, ESC Coordinator, took the lead on a deep dive into Erasmus+ opportunities! 🇪🇺They talked about volunteering opportunitirw, broke down the essentials for participants, from crafting a winning application to the crucial details of successful project coordination, implementation, and the final reporting phase. Empowering youth workers with the tools for real impact! 💪💡

🇦🇲 🇵🇱 🇺🇦 Study visit to Zakopane – Day 3 from our Play Lingua training course, September 7th. 🏔️🌲
​As a special part of our training agenda, our international team headed over to Zakopane! We took on an energizing hike through the Tatra National Park, explored the fascinating Centrum Edukacji Przyrodniczej, and dived into a lively city quest to uncover hidden corners while soaking in the crisp mountain air and vibrant local colors. We wrapped up this incredible day back in Bukowina with a traditional dinner overlooking a gorgeous view! ✨🍽️
