[ENG] 🏔 We’re looking for a 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 to join the HIKEArmenia team and help shape the trails connecting Armenia’s landscapes, villages, and communities.
From trail scouting and maintenance planning to working with crews, local communities, and the Armenian National Trail project, this role is for someone who’s just as comfortable planning at a desk as getting out into the field.
If trails, Armenia, and getting things done sound like your kind of work, we’d love to hear from you.

[ENG] We are kicking off autumn hiking season with wonderful news! We’re incredibly proud to share that the Armenian National Trail has been shortlisted for the 2026 World Trails Awards in the Arts & Culture Heritage category. 🏆

🥾 This recognition feels truly special. Beyond the trail miles built, it honors the villages, stories, welcoming locals, and living traditions that connect Armenia’s landscapes directly to its communities. Being shortlisted alongside the world’s most inspiring trail organizations is both a huge honor and a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come.

The winners will be announced at the World Trails Conference in Perth, Australia, this October. For now, we’re simply thrilled to see Armenia on this list. 💚
Let the trail unfold. One village at a time.

[ARM] Աշնանային արշավական շրջանը մեկնարկում ենք հրաշալի նորությամբ։ Անչափ ուրախ ենք տեղեկացնել, որ Հայաստանի Ազգային Արահետն ընդգրկվել է «Աշխարհի արահետներ մրցանակաբաշխություն» 2026-ի՝ «Արվեստ և մշակութային ժառանգություն» անվանակարգում։ 🏆

🥾 Սա իսկապես նշանակալի ձեռքբերում է մեզ համար։ Կառուցված կիլոմետրերից զատ՝ սա գնահատանք է Ազգային Արահետի վրա հանդիպող գյուղերին, հյուրընկալ մարդկանց և ապրող ավանդույթներին, որոնք միավորում են Հայաստանի բնությունն ու մշակույթը։ Գտնվել աշխարհի ամենատպավորիչ արահետների կողքին մեկ ցուցակում՝ մեծ պատիվ է և հիշեցում անցած ճանապարհի մասին։

Հաղթողների անունները հայտնի կդառնան այս հոկտեմբերին Ավստրալիայի Փերթ քաղաքում կայանալիք Համաշխարհային Արահետների Ցանցի համաժողովի ընթացքում։ Իսկ մինչ այդ մենք պարզապես ոգևորված ենք՝ Հայաստանը միջազգային բեմին նորից տեսնելու առթիվ։ 💚

✨ The magic of having Shant and Helena from Birthright Armenia | Դեպի Հայք on our team? They don’t just go for a weekend hike.

On their recent trek through 🌄 Ashotsk–Amasia, they mapped the trail, logged GPX data, and reported on trail conditions before their boots even dried. To top it off, they filmed a full vlog along the way, making everyone at HIKEArmenia, from marketing to trail project managers, very happy!

This is what happens when passionate volunteers step up: a simple weekend stroll ends up building a better, safer network for our entire hiking community.
Huge love to these two for turning every step into something that benefits us all! 🥾💚🎬

🌄 A trail is one thing on the map. It’s another thing when someone comes back and tells you what it felt like to walk it.

A little shade, a forest that feels like a rainforest, old villages, mountain views, fresh berries, good tea at the end: these are the details that make a hike memorable.
