Hooga Coworking is a perfect place for those who want to work remotely with the needed amenities but at the same time enjoy the surrounding nature in Kalavan, Armenia. My creators have started this initiative during the COVID pandemic when they realized that less and less international tourists will be visiting the village and as a result community members will face huge economic consequences. My
creators brainstormed within their bright team and decided to create a new service namely coworking space. This year more and more people started working remotely and this was an opportunity to attract this segment of tourism industry and invite them to amazing village Kalavan. Amid continued concerns over the spread of coronavirus, particularly in Armenia, many companies have announced that their employees won’t be returning to their offices until 2021. This was the case not just in Armenia but all around the globe. For instance some of the largest tech companies, such as Twitter, Facebook, Square, and Shopify have even stated the switch to remote work is a permanent option. Employees of these companies have been working from home for months after a rapid shift away from the traditional work day at large office campuses. Now, they are finding themselves with the option to work remotely forever. No longer required to live near a corporate office or make the long commute to get to it, many are choosing the option to move away, some to more rural areas that can offer a better quality of life. Thus, Hooga team has decided that this is a good chance and a great model to incorporate into the rural development program. Take the opportunity to look at your job from another perspective.
