"Nor Luyce" Mentoring Center for Youth

Building a brighter Future www.norluyce.com Nor Luyce organization provides mentoring to teen-girls in area orphanages.

Our organization focus is on children who are fourteen to seventeen years old because they are socially vulnerable; they have little family support, they tend not to have long term planning skills; and they are facing directly the challenges of establishing a life outside their orphanage. The number of these children is 75 in each orphanage, while in Gyumri there are three orphanages. Our organization helps them prepare for the transition by providing a relationship with a trusted adult and exposure to the cultural, educational and work worlds outside the orphanage. This exposure is designed to make them aware of possible career choices and of the necessary preparation. The program logic is based on the assumption that successful choices require a trusted adult, who can help them to explore their environment and provide good advice and experiences which will allow them to test their ideas. Nowadays young people have to cope with many personal and social pressures. Getting emotional support and social experiences from mentors will help the children overcome the problems and challenges they face.

Հմտությունների զարգացման փուլի խմբային հանդիպման հաջորդ թեման ժամանակի կառավարումն էր։

Այս հանդիպման ընթացքում մեր մենթիները հետաքրքիր վարժությունների միջոցով պարզեցին, թե որքան արդյունավետ են կարողանում կառավարել իրենց ժամանակը, այնուհետև սովորեցին ժամանակի արդյունավետ կառավարման մի շարք օգտակար և հետաքրքիր մեթոդներ։

The next topic in our Skill Building phase was all about time management.

Through engaging exercises, mentees explored their own time-management habits and discovered how effectively they use their time.
Then our girls learned practical and interesting strategies to help them plan smarter, prioritize better, and make the most of every minute.

Այս շաբաթ կայացան հերթական մենթորինգ խմբային հանդիպումները, որոնց ընթացքում մեր մենթորներն ու մենթիները էլ ավելի լավ ճանաչեցին միմյանց։

Այս շաբաթ նրանք նաև ընտրեցին իրենց նախընտրելի զույգերին և այժմ անհամբեր սպասում են արդյունքներին։

This week, our mentors and mentees came together for our regular Mentoring Group Meetings: a space to connect, get to know one another, share, and start building the relationships that make our mentoring journey so special.

And this week our girls and mentors selected their preferred mentor-mentee matches - and now the waiting begins!

«Մոտիվացիան շարժման մեջ» խորագրով հանդիպումների շարքի այս տարվա առաջին հյուրը շատ սիրված և ճանաչված սցենարիստ Անի Մաղաքյանն էր։

Մեր մենթիներն ունեցան անչափ ջերմ, անմիջական և հետաքրքիր զրույց Անիի հետ։ Անին պատմեց իր անցած ուղու մասին և կիսվեց իր անձնական փորձով։

Նա խորհուրդ տվեց մեր աղջիկներին միշտ հետևել իրենց երազանքներին և առաջնահերթություն տալ սեփական ցանկություններին ու որոշումներին։

Սիրելի՛ Անի, անչափ շնորհակալ ենք շատ ջերմ ու հետաքրքիր հանդիպման, արժեքավոր խորհուրդների և մեծ մոտիվացիայի համար։

We’re kicking off this year’s Motivation In Motion with someone truly special - beloved Armenian scriptwriter Ani Maghakyan!

Our girls had a beautiful, honest, and inspiring conversation with Ani about her journey, her experiences, the choices she’s made, and the dreams that keep her moving forward.

Her message to our mentees?
- Dream your own dreams.
- Listen to your own wishes.
- Trust your decisions.
- And keep moving forward.

Dear Ani, thank you for opening your heart, sharing your story, and reminding our girls that their dreams are worth believing in and worth pursuing.

Մեր մենթորների առաջին ընթացիկ վերապատրաստման ընթացքում անդրադարձանք «Ճիշտ հարցեր տալու արվեստին»։ Մենթորները սովորեցին արդյունավետ հարցադրման միջոցով բացահայտել զրուցակցի մտքերը, զգացողություններն ու կարիքները և դրանց հիման վրա ցուցաբերել համապատասխան աջակցություն։

During our mentors’ first Ongoing Training session, we explored “The Art of Asking the Right Questions.”

Our mentors learned how thoughtful, effective questions can help uncover a person’s thoughts, feelings, and needs - and guide them toward the support they truly need.

Because great mentoring starts with listening, understanding, and asking with purpose.

«Իմ հաջողության բանալին» խորագրով հանդիպումների շրջանակում սիրով հյուրընկալեցինք սիրված դերասանուհի Ջեմմա Ադամյանին։

Մեր հյուրը խոսեց իր կյանքի կարևոր դրվագների, անձի ձևավորման և դեպի հաջողություն տանող իր ճանապարհի մասին։

Ջեմման մեր աղջիկներին խորհուրդ տվեց երբեք չմոռանալ, որ իրենք են իրենց կյանքի ֆիլմի գլխավոր հերոսուհիները, և հիշեցրեց, որ հաջողության ամենակարևոր բանալիներից են ինքնավստահությունն ու ներքին ներդաշնակությունը։

As part of our Key to My Success meetings, we were delighted to welcome the wonderful actress Jemma Adamyan.
Jemma opened up about her journey, sharing meaningful moments from her life and the path that brought her to success.

Her message to our girls was simple and powerful: believe in yourself, find your inner harmony, and never forget that you are the author of your own story.

Հմտությունների զարգացման փուլի մենթիների խմբային հանդիպումները շարունակվում են Նոր Լույսում։ Այս հանդիպման ընթացքում նրանք հետաքրքիր և գործնական վարժությունների միջոցով բացահայտեցին թիմային աշխատանքի կարևորությունը, արդյունավետ համագործակցության սկզբունքներն ու դրա դերը տարբեր ոլորտներում։

Նոր Լույսում մեկնարկեցին մենթորինգի խմբային հանդիպումները։ Հանդիպումների ընթացքում մենթորներն ու մենթիները ծանոթացան միմյանց հետ և հետաքրքիր վարժանքների ու խաղերի միջոցով հնարավորություն ունեցան ավելի լավ ճանաչելու միմյանց։

Our mentors and mentees met for their first group sessions, getting to know each other through fun games, activities, laughter, and meaningful connections.

Այս շաբաթ Նոր Լույսում կայացավ մենթորների նախնական վերապատրաստումների վերջին հանդիպումը։ Հանդիպման ընթացքում նրանք ծանոթացան մենթորական աշխատանքում կիրառվող անհատական թերթիկներին և դրանց լրացման կարգին։

This week, we wrapped up the final session of our Pre-Mentor Training! Our future mentors explored the tools and worksheets that guide the mentoring journey and learned how to use them effectively to support meaningful connections with their mentees.

The training may be over, but the mentoring journey is just beginning!

Նոր Լույսում մեկնարկեցին ընդհանուր խմբային հանդիպումները։ Առաջին հանդիպման ընթացքում Մենթորինգ և Հմտությունների Զարգացման փուլերի մենթիները հետաքրքիր ու զվարճալի խաղերի միջոցով ծանոթացան, շփվեցին և հնարավորություն ունեցան ավելի լավ ճանաչելու միմյանց։

Program-wide group meetings have officially kicked off at Nor Luyce! During the first meeting, mentees from the Mentoring and Skill-Building phases got to know each other through fun and engaging games, had the chance to connect, and learn more about one another.
