Armenian Lighthouse Charitable Foundation (ALCF)

ALCF was registered in Armenia in 2006. In 2011 we built the complex to serve the needy people.

This facility houses neglected women and their children providing them with a safe place to live and vocational training and counseling. A large hall is used within the complex for educational seminars, bible study, and weekly lunches for the elderly. The complex also provides a bridal gown program offering women free wedding gowns if they are willing to marry in a church. The Foundation’s offices

and warehouse, where donations are sorted and prepared for distribution to the community and outlying regions, are also located at this facility.

The children and mothers of ALCF had the wonderful opportunity to attend the delightful performance of Pippi Longstocking at the Yerevan Dramatic Theatre. Filled with humor, adventure, and unforgettable characters, the performance brought smiles, laughter, and excitement to everyone in the audience. Cultural experiences like these inspire children's imagination, encourage a love for the arts, and create cherished memories. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Yerevan Dramatic Theatre for their invitation and warm hospitality.
Երևանի դրամատիկական թատրոնում ԱԼԲՀ-ի երեխաներն ու մայրերը հրաշալի հնարավորություն ունեցան ներկա գտնվելու «Երկարագուլպա Պեպին» հիասքանչ ներկայացմանը: Հումորով, արկածներով և անմոռանալի կերպարներով լի ներկայացումը ժպիտներ, ծիծաղ և հուզմունք պարգևեց բոլոր հանդիսատեսին: Նման մշակութային փորձառությունները ոգեշնչում են երեխաների երևակայությունը, խրախուսում արվեստի հանդեպ սերը և ստեղծում են թանկարժեք հիշողություններ: Մենք մեր խորին շնորհակալությունն ենք հայտնում Երևանի դրամատիկական թատրոնին իրենց հրավերի և ջերմ
հյուրընկալության համար:

ALCF was delighted to attend the graduation ceremony at Musaler and Ptghunk Kindergartens. To support the children as they prepare for school, ALCF donated stationery sets, wishing them every success in this exciting new chapter.

ԱԼԲՀ-ն ուրախ էր մասնակցել Մուսալեռի և Պտղունքի մանկապարտեզներում կայացած ավարտական արարողությանը: Երեխաներին դպրոցին նախապատրաստվելու գործում աջակցելու համար ԱԼԲՀ-ն նվիրաբերեց գրենական պիտույքների հավաքածուներ՝ մաղթելով նրանց հաջողություններ այս հետաքրքիր նոր փուլում:

Our little residents joyfully celebrated the beloved Armenian tradition of Vardavar, embracing the fun of splashing water and enjoying this special holiday together. At ALCF, we are grateful to create opportunities for the children in our care to experience the beauty of our culture while simply enjoying being children. We wish everyone a happy and blessed Vardavar! May this joyful holiday bring peace, love, and abundant blessings to every home.

Մեր փոքրիկ բնակիչները ուրախությամբ նշեցին սիրված հայկական Վարդավառի ավանդույթը՝ միասին վայելելով ջուր ցողելու զվարճանքը և այս հատուկ տոնը։ ԱԼԲՀ-ում մենք երախտապարտ ենք, որ հնարավորություններ ենք ստեղծում մեր խնամքի տակ գտնվող երեխաների համար՝ վայելելու մեր մշակույթի գեղեցկությունը՝ միաժամանակ պարզապես վայելելով երեխա լինելը։ Մաղթում ենք բոլորին ուրախ և օրհնված Վարդավառ։ Թող այս ուրախ տոնը խաղաղություն, սեր և առատ օրհնություններ բերի յուրաքանչյուր տուն։

We were delighted to welcome a group of 6th-grade students, their parents, and staff members from Ari Guiragos Minassian Armenian School in Orange County, California, to ALCF. It was a wonderful opportunity for our residents and guests to spend time together, share smiles, and strengthen the bonds that unite Armenians across the world. We are deeply grateful that they took the time to visit our shelter, learn about our mission, and show their support for the women and children we support. Visits like these remind our residents that they are not alone and that compassion knows no distance.
ԱԼԲՀ-ում մենք մեծ սիրով ընդունեցինք Կալիֆոռնիայի Orange County-ի Արի Կիրակոս Մինասեան Ազգային Վարժարանի մի խումբ 6-րդ դասարանի աշակերտների, նրանց ծնողների և աշխատակիցների: Սա հրաշալի հնարավորություն էր մեր բնակիչների և հյուրերի համար միասին ժամանակ անցկացնելու, ժպիտներ կիսելու և աշխարհի հայերին միավորող կապերը ամրապնդելու համար: Մենք խորապես շնորհակալ ենք, որ նրանք ժամանակ գտան այցելելու մեր ապաստան, ծանոթանալու մեր առաքելությանը և իրենց աջակցությունն ու հոգատարությունը հայտնեցին այն կանանց և երեխաներին, որոնց աջակցում է ԱԼԲՀ-ն: Նման այցելությունները մեր բնակիչներին հիշեցնում են, որ նրանք միայնակ չեն, և որ կարեկցանքը հեռավորություն չի ճանաչում:

On Sunday, the residents of ALCF continued their journey of discovering the beautiful regions of Armenia. This time, our destination was the picturesque village of Bjni. During our visit, we explored the historic Bjni Fortress, admired the famous mineral springs, and visited the beautiful Surb Astvatsatsin Church. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, we enjoyed the fresh air, stunning nature, and the opportunity to learn more about Armenia’s rich history and cultural heritage.
Կիրակի օրը ԱԼԲՀ-ի բնակիչները շարունակեցին իրենց ճանապարհորդությունը՝ բացահայտելով Հայաստանի գեղեցիկ շրջանները: Այս անգամ մեր նպատակակետը գեղատեսիլ Բջնի գյուղն էր։.
Մեր այցելության ընթացքում մենք ուսումնասիրեցինք պատմական Բջնիի ամրոցը, հիացանք հայտնի հանքային ջրի աղբյուրները և այցելեցինք գեղեցիկ Սուրբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցի: Շրջապատված հիասկանչ բնապատկերներով՝ մենք վայելեցինք մաքուր օդը, ապշեցուցիչ բնությունը և հնարավորություն ունեցանք ավելին իմանալու Հայաստանի հարուստ պատմության և մշակութային ժառանգության մասին:

🏆 An Inspiring Day at ALCF! 🏆
Our young residents had the wonderful opportunity to spend time with Tanzela Grigoryan, a member of the Armenian Women’s Weightlifting Team and a multiple-time national champion.
Tanzela organized a lively and engaging Sportlandia, bringing together sports, teamwork, and fun. Through various activities and games, she encouraged the children to stay active, work together, and believe in their abilities.
Her visit was filled with energy, enthusiasm, and meaningful moments that left a lasting impression on our children. We are grateful to Tanzela for sharing her time, experience, and encouragement with our residents.

🏆 Ոգեշնչող օր ԱԼԲՀ-ում։ 🏆
Մեր երիտասարդ բնակիչները հրաշալի հնարավորություն ունեցան ժամանակ անցկացնելու Հայաստանի կանանց ծանրամարտի հավաքականի անդամ և ազգային առաջնության բազմակի չեմպիոն Տանզելա Գրիգորյանի հետ։
Տանզելան կազմակերպեց աշխույժ և հետաքրքիր Սպորտլանդիա՝ միավորելով սպորտը, թիմային աշխատանքը և զվարճանքը։ Տարբեր վարժությունների և խաղերի միջոցով նա խրախուսեց երեխաներին մնալ ակտիվ, աշխատել միասին և հավատալ իրենց կարողություններին։
Նրա այցը լի էր էներգիայով, ոգևորությամբ և իմաստալից պահերով, որոնք անմոռանալի տպավորություն թողեցին մեր երեխաների վրա։ Մենք շնորհակալ ենք Տանզելային՝ իր ժամանակը, փորձը և ոգեշնչումը մեր բնակիչների հետ կիսելու համար։
Շնորհակալություն օրն այդքան յուրահատուկ և ոգեշնչող դարձնելու համար։

On the occasion of International Children’s Day, the students of Merdzavan Secondary School visited ALCF and brought a wonderful surprise for our children.
They presented an educational puppet performance based on Hovhannes Tumanyan’s beloved fairy tale, “The End of evil.” Through their creativity and talent, they brought the story to life, sharing its timeless message about kindness, justice, and the triumph of good over evil.
Our children watched with great excitement and joy, fully immersed in the magical world of the performance. The visit created a festive atmosphere and filled the day with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
We sincerely thank the students and teachers of Merdzavan Secondary School for their thoughtful visit and for making Children’s Day so special for the young residents of ALCF.

Երեխաների պաշտպանության միջազգային օրվա առթիվ Մերձավանի միջնակարգ դպրոցի աշակերտներն այցելեցին ԱԼԲՀ և բերեցին գեղեցիկ անակնկալ մեր երեխաների համար։
Նրանք ներկայացրին ուսուցողական տիկնիկային բեմադրություն՝ Հովհաննես Թումանյանի «Չարի վերջը» հեքիաթի հիման վրա։ Իրենց ստեղծագործական մոտեցման և տաղանդի շնորհիվ աշակերտները կենդանացրին սիրված հեքիաթը՝ փոխանցելով բարության, արդարության և բարու հաղթանակի կարևոր պատգամը։
Մեր երեխաները մեծ հետաքրքրությամբ և ոգևորությամբ հետևեցին ներկայացմանը՝ վայելելով յուրաքանչյուր պահը։ Այցը ստեղծեց տոնական և ջերմ մթնոլորտ՝ լցնելով օրը ժպիտներով, ուրախությամբ և անմոռանալի հիշողություններով։
Մեր խորին շնորհակալությունն ենք հայտնում Մերձավանի միջնակարգ դպրոցի աշակերտներին և ուսուցիչներին՝ այս հոգատար այցի և մեր երեխաների համար Երեխաների պաշտպանության օրը առավել գեղեցիկ ու հիշարժան դարձնելու համար։

International Children’s Day at ALCF was filled with excitement, laughter, and unforgettable memories thanks to the kindness of Dr. Tigran Tsaturyan and his wonderful friends.
Our children enjoyed a fantastic entertainment program specially prepared for them, featuring beloved cartoon characters, fun performances, and plenty of surprises. The day was made even brighter with thoughtful gifts that brought smiles to every child’s face.
From the moment the celebration began, the air was filled with joy, laughter, and the magic that makes childhood so special. Watching the children sing, dance, play, and celebrate together was truly heartwarming.
We are deeply grateful to Dr. Tsaturyan and his friends for sharing their time, generosity, and care with our children and for making this Children’s Day such a meaningful and joyful occasion.
ԱԼԲՀ-ում Երեխաների պաշտպանության օրը վերածվեց ուրախության, ժպիտների և անմոռանալի հիշողությունների տոնի՝ բժիշկ Տիգրան Ծատուրյանի և նրա հրաշալի ընկերների շնորհիվ։
Մեր երեխաների համար կազմակերպվել էր հետաքրքիր ժամանցային ծրագիր՝ սիրված մուլտհերոսների մասնակցությամբ, զվարճալի ներկայացումներով և բազմաթիվ անակնկալներով։ Տոնական օրվա ուրախությունը կրկնապատկվեց գեղեցիկ նվերների շնորհիվ, որոնք մեծ ժպիտներ պարգևեցին յուրաքանչյուր երեխայի։
Օրվա ընթացքում ամենուրեք տիրում էին ծիծաղ, ուրախություն և այն կախարդական մթնոլորտը, որը մանկությունն այդքան յուրահատուկ է դարձնում։ Ջերմ էր տեսնել, թե ինչպես էին երեխաները պարում, խաղում և վայելում այս գեղեցիկ օրը։
Մեր խորին շնորհակալությունն ենք հայտնում բժիշկ Ծատուրյանին և նրա ընկերներին՝ երեխաների հանդեպ ցուցաբերած սիրո, հոգատարության և առատաձեռնության համար։ Նրանք այս օրը դարձրին իսկապես հիշարժան և լի երջանիկ պահերով։

The little residents of ALCF celebrated this meaningful day in a special and creative way. With their tiny hands dipped in paint, they brought our beautiful tricolor to life — red, blue, and orange covering a white canvas with love, joy, and pride.
May our children always grow up in peace, hope, and the warmth of our homeland. ❤️💙🧡

Շնորհավոր Հանրապետության Առաջին օրը, Հայաստան։
ԱԼԲՀ-ի փոքրիկ բնակիչներն այս կարևոր օրը նշեցին յուրահատուկ ու ստեղծագործ ձևով։ Իրենց փոքրիկ ձեռքերը, ներկերի մեջ թաթախելով, սեփական ձեռքերով ստեղծեցին մեր գեղեցիկ եռագույնը՝ կարմիր, կապույտ և նարնջագույն գույներով ներկելով սպիտակ կտավը սիրով, ուրախությամբ և հպարտությամբ։

During our regular pilgrimage, the residents of the ALCF visited Tsaghkevank — a place where faith, history, and nature come together in harmony. Surrounded by mighty rocks and breathtaking landscapes, the pilgrims experienced moments of spiritual reflection, prayer, and unity. May these pilgrimages strengthen our faith, preserve our traditions, and bring our community even closer together.
Մեր հերթական ուխտագնացության ընթացքում ԱԼԲՀ-ի բնակիչներն այցելեցին Ծաղկեվանք՝ մի վայր, որտեղ հավատքը, պատմությունը և բնությունը ներդաշնակորեն միաձուլվում են։ Շրջապատված հզոր ժայռերով և շունչ կտրող բնապատկերներով՝ ուխտավորները ապրեցին հոգևոր խորհրդածության, աղոթքի և միասնության պահեր։ Թող այս ուխտագնացություններն ամրապնդեն մեր հավատքը, պահպանեն մեր ավանդույթները և մեր համայնքն ավելի մտերմացնեն:
