✨ Our Fourth Lecture is Complete!
The John Galt School has successfully completed its fourth session, dedicated to “Love, Altruism, and Selfishness from the Objectivist Point of View.”
The discussion was led by Naira Iritsyan, one of the top graduates of the John Galt School of Armenia and an active member of the Ayn Rand Center Armenia. Naira has been deeply engaged in studying and teaching Ayn Rand’s philosophy, sharing her passion for Objectivism through various lectures, book clubs, and international programs.
💬 During the session, participants actively explored profound questions:
– What does it mean to love rationally?
– Is altruism truly a moral virtue?
– How does Objectivism define selfishness as a moral ideal?
The discussion was dynamic and inspiring, filled with thoughtful reflections and lively exchanges of ideas.
As Ayn Rand reminds us:
“To love is to value. Only a rationally selfish man, a man of self-esteem, is capable of love.”
“The choice is not self-sacrifice or domination, but independence or dependence.”
