Celebrating Excellence: New
NHS Members Lead the Way as True TIS Tigers
Yesterday, we proudly welcomed a new group of exceptional students into the National Honor Society
NHS is a prestigious organization that recognizes students who exemplify the four pillars of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.
The NHS is more than an honor; it’s a commitment. Since its founding in 1921, the National Honor Society has stood as a symbol of excellence in American education.
Students selected for membership are not only high achievers in the classroom, but also role models in their communities-demonstrating integrity, compassion, and a drive to make a difference.
At TIS, these students are the very embodiment of what it means to be a TIS Tiger: thoughtful, inquisitive, generous, empathetic, and resilient. They lead by example, lift others up, and strive to leave every space better than they found it.
As we celebrate their induction today, we also look ahead with excitement. These students are not just being honored for who they are-they are being empowered for who they will become. The future is brighter because of their ideas, their kindness, and their courage to lead with purpose.
To our new NHS members: Congratulations! You’ve earned this moment, and we can’t wait to see how you continue to grow, serve, and inspire.
