“Fëmijët Janë e Ardhmja” (FJA) or “Children Are the Future” (CAF) is a non-profit development organization with no religious, political or governmental affiliations that works to create better lives for children and youth and equal opportunities for their development. Working with their families, schools and the communities where they live is an integral part of this purpose. The organization str
ives to contribute toward a world in which all children are respected and valued and where they can realize their full potential. CAF was established in October 2008. It is a development organization with oversight from a board of five distinguished people in the fields of education, law, health, arts and engineering. The core management team is composed of highly dedicated individuals with a rich educational and professional background, who are united by a strong will and commitment to helping to bring about positive changes in the lives of thousands of children and youth, of their families and of their communities. Based on our mission and objectives, our main programs are focused on Education, Children’s Rights; Gender Equality; and Child and Community Development. Our operations have no limitations in terms of geographical position, but they are highly focused on disadvantaged communities, where there is a high need for support and interventions. In our efforts toward achieving our goals and objectives, we encourage and value participation of and cooperation with students, parents, teachers and school administrators, school inner structures such as Student Governments/Councils and School Boards, community leaders, Education and Local Government authorities and many other important stakeholders and also partnership with national and international NGOs and Agencies that share common interests and values.
