Under the theme “𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁-𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀” a dynamic gathering of investors, financial institutions, social enterprises, startups, policymakers, intermediary organizations, and ecosystem leaders were brought together to discuss ways of how we can connect capital with purpose and accelerate impact-driven growth.

Together, we explored:
✅ Albania’s readiness for impact investing at scale;
✅ Financing gaps and investment opportunities;
✅ Collaboration between ecosystem builders;
✅ Incentives and risk-sharing mechanisms in building a thriving impact ecosystem.

The energy, expertise, and commitment shared throughout the morning reaffirmed that 🇦🇱 Albania has potential to attract and mobilize capital that generates both financial returns and social and environmental impact, but this potential can only be unlocked through coordinated, cross-sectoral collaboration and engagement among all stakeholders.

The event was followed by a B2B match-making event as a way of exploring potential partnership among financial institutions and impact-driven enterprises.

A heartfelt thank you to all participants, who contributed to making it a success.

Yesterday📍 In Tirana, the 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐄𝐔–𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 (𝐉𝐂𝐂) meeting brought together civil society and social partner representatives from Albania and the European Union. The meeting was co-chaired by Juliana Hoxha, Executive Director of Partners Albania, in her role as JCC Co-Chair. 🇪🇺 🇦🇱

The JCC, established under the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the EU and Albania, serves as a platform for civil society dialogue on Albania’s EU accession process. It enables organisations from both sides to monitor progress and provide recommendations to both the Albanian Government and EU institutions.

This meeting focused on key elements of 🇦🇱 Albania’s EU integration path, including progress under Cluster 1 (fundamentals), interim benchmarks, and the implementation of reforms within the Growth Plan for the . Discussions also covered Cluster 2 areas, such as the internal market, preparations for integration into the EU Single Market, consumer protection, and the enabling environment for civil society in Albania.
