Coming over to our panel session, we have this amazing opportunity for you to meet and discuss with Agon Maliqi, a civil society activist and media writer from Kosovo. He has worked as a consultant for international organizations for a decade, and is interested in international and regional affairs. As a Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellow, he is experienced and well-versed in human rights and democracy. The session promises to be an interesting one, where we will definitely have the opportunity to learn a lot from him!

BRIDGE FORUM: YOUTH EMIGRATION AND BRAIN DRAINING
May 13th, from 17h30 to 19h, on zoom

Bridge Forum consists in a series of discussions online, focused on some of the most sensitive problems of youth in the Western Balkans. After the first session, “Youth and Economy”, now, in the second session, will be discussed about the brain draining of the youth from the region, a characteristically painful phenomenon since the fall of communism and the accompanying crises and wars. The presentation of the panellists will be followed by a dialogue with the audience.

Panellists: Marija Krstevska (President of National Youth Council of North Macedonia); Agon Maliqi (policy analyst and civil society activist)

BRIDGE FORUM: YOUTH AND THE ECONOMY

March 28th, from 15:00 until 16:30, on zoom

Bridge Forum consists in a series of discussions online, focused on some of the most sensitive problems of youth in the Western Balkans. This is the first session, dedicated to such topics as youth unemployment, precariousness, expectations and perspective from the socio-economic point of view. It will also discuss the causes of the present situation of youth in the region, by questioning the existing economic model, its fundamental principles and its implementation. The presentation of the panelists will be followed by a dialogue with the audience.
Panelists: Majlinda Bregu (politician and scholar,
Secretary General of Regional Cooperation Council) and Igor Štiks (writer and political scientist).
