Who are we? Kush jemi ne?
QKHA lindi si ide e katër kërkueseve shkencore, gra të reja në karrierë, të cilat dëshironin të sillnin një kontribut ndryshe dhe novator në fushën e kërkimit shkencor në Shqipëri, projekteve zhvillimore etj, duke dashur të nxisë pjesëmarrjen e gruas dhe të adresojë problematikën e domeineve historikisht të kryesuara nga gjinia mashkullore. Ndaj QKHA ka në themelet e saj forcimin e rolit të gruas në shkencë dhe komunitet. QKHA është organizata e parë shqiptare që ka arritur të përthithë fonde nga programi prestigjioz Horizon 2020 i Komisionit Europian, për kërkim shkencor.
QKHA was born as an idea from four young women researchers who wished to bring a different and innovative contribution in the field of scientific research and development projects in Albania. We wanted to enhance the engagement of women in the fields classically dominated by male and to address this issue. Thus it is in our core values that we work for women and gender empowerment in research and local community life. Also, QKHA takes pride in being the first Albanian NGO who has been awarded a Horizon 2020 project, a prestigious framework programme on science and research of the European Commission.
