▪️Këto vepra përbëjnë një vlerë të shtuar për fondin e librit në IETT dhe për të gjithë dashamirësit e librave, duke sjellë kontribute të rëndësishme letrare dhe kulturore.

🖋️ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗫𝗵𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗟𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶 është autor i mbi 50 veprave letrare, studiues, botues dhe publicist me një veprimtari të pasur krijuese. Për më shumë se pesë dekada, ai ka dhënë një kontribut të rëndësishëm në fushën e arsimit, kulturës dhe botimeve shqiptare.

🤝 𝗜𝗘𝗧𝗧 𝘀𝗵𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗵 𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗲̈𝗻𝗷𝗼𝗵𝗷𝗲𝗻 𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗷 për këtë dhurim të vyer, i cili pasuron fondin e bibliotekës dhe mbështet promovimin e dijes dhe kulturës.

The Institute of Education, Heritage and Tourism (IETT), represented by its Director, Ms. Anisa Hykaj, participated in the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 organized by the 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, held in 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗽𝗷𝗲, 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟮–𝟭𝟰 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

🎓 As part of the symposium’s academic program, Ms. Hykaj presented her research paper entitled 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺, 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 (𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟭–𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟴), which examines the representation of cultural heritage, historical memory, and identity-related themes in the publications of the journal Univers.

🤝 IETT’s participation in this international scientific event reflects the Institute’s commitment to advancing research in the fields of education, cultural heritage, and tourism, while fostering international academic cooperation and contributing to scholarly discussions on issues of regional significance.

🔸 The Institute of Education, Heritage and Tourism (IETT) participated as a partner institution in the international workshop “Tourism, Its Socio-Economic & Environmental Impacts”, hosted by the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT). The workshop brought together academics, experts, and students to discuss sustainable tourism and its future challenges and opportunities.

🤝 IETT was represented by Prof. Dr. Nevila Nika, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, who delivered opening remarks, while tourism expert and IETT collaborator Mr. Luan Dervishej presented on sustainable tourism, cultural heritage, and community involvement in responsible tourism development.

✒️ The workshop engaged 22 undergraduate students from Tennessee Tech University and CIT through presentations and interactive discussions on tourism development, environmental responsibility, and the use of ICT in sustainable tourism.

◻️The Institute of Education, Heritage and Tourism (IETT) took part in Balkonnect Festival 2026 through the participation of its Executive Director, Mrs. Anisa Hykaj.

🔰 She participated as a panelist in the session “Tourism, Real Estate & Infrastructure and Cultural Heritage and Creative Economy as Tourism Infrastructure” held at Piramida, Tirana.

🌍 Mrs. Hykaj discussed the role of cultural heritage, education and community engagement in creating more authentic and sustainable tourism experiences in Albania and the Western Balkans, while also sharing practical examples from IETT’s work in cultural tours, heritage interpretation activities and educational initiatives related to cultural tourism.

🤝 She also emphasized the importance of destination identity, heritage interpretation and visitor experience in strengthening tourism development and promoting long-term cultural value.

👥The panel was moderated by Prof. PhD. Kejda Nuhu and brought together professionals from tourism, innovation, investment, business development and creative industries.

🏛️ Discovering Tirana’s Cultural Heritage on International Museum Day

◻️In the framework of the International Museum Day the Institute of Education, Heritage and Tourism (IETT) organized a cultural and educational tour led by Dr. Ols Lafe.

🌱The tour introduced Albanian and foreign students to some of Tirana’s most important historical and cultural landmarks, including the Museum of the Bank of Albania, the Puppet Theatre, the First Albanian Parliament, the Pedestrian Area, the traces of the city’s earliest foundations, the Medieval Castle of Tirana, the Clock Tower, and the Et’hem Bey Mosque.

🎯Students also visited the Tomb of Kapllan Pasha and explored the influence of Italian architecture on the city’s urban identity and historical development.

🔖Through this initiative, IETT aimed to promote cultural heritage awareness, historical education, and appreciation for the rich architectural legacy of Tirana.

🤝 Through interactive discussions, presentations, and case-based learning, participants will explore innovative approaches to responsible tourism, intercultural dialogue, and the importance of education in building sustainable communities.
