Highlights from Road to CHOGM on ABS Television/Radio.

ABHTA Executive Director and Co-Lead of the CHOGM Accommodations Committee, Patrice Simon, underscored the urgency for delegations to confirm accommodation arrangements early ahead of CHOGM 2026.

The CHOGM Accommodations Team is also actively managing coordination with participating countries, with approximately 37 countries already engaged in booking arrangements for Heads of Delegation and Foreign Ministries.

With approximately 5,000 delegates expected from all 56 Commonwealth countries, early planning is key to ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated hosting experience for this historic global event.

Once registered, properties will:
✅ Be verified against the Ministry of Tourism’s inspection and certification database
✅ If certified, be listed on the official CHOGM accommodation website for delegates to book

As the mural takes shape, it stands as a reminder that hosting CHOGM 2026 is a national effort built through the contributions, creativity, and commitment of people across Antigua and Barbuda.

This week, CHOGM Envoy Sir Vivian Richards, High Commissioner Karen-Mae Hill, and Co-Team Lead of the CHOGM 2026 Media and Public Affairs Committee, Sharifa George, visited the mural site as well as other diplomatic officials added their bottle caps to the growing artwork.
