ECCLA through the collective strength of its individual members has far greater bargaining power to negotiate collective licences with government, libraries, educational institutions and businesses. Not only can we ensure that our members are properly remunerated for their work, but we ensure that respect for copyright is maintained by raising awareness of the scope and value of copyright. anisation was formed after a series of consultations sponsored by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and the International Federation of Reprographic Rights Organisations (IFFRO). The organisation is also a member of IFFRO. ECCLA has a presence in the following countries:
