Mill Reef Fund

Mill Reef Fund To help the people of Antigua & Barbuda by donating resources to benefit the their general welfare, religious, medical and educational lives.

In 1948, long before the last stone of the Mill Reef Clubhouse was in place and the cement was dried, its founders established the Mill Reef Fund. The establishment of the Fund reflected the founding members’ gratitude and commitment to the islands and people of Antigua and Barbuda. Its mission which is adhered to today was to improve the lives of Antiguans through donations to medical, educationa

l, general welfare, and religious institutions. Mill Reef Fund is governed by a Board of Trustees who are proprietary members of the Mill Reef Club. The Trustees of The Mill Reef Fund cover all administrative and fundraising costs so that 100% of donors’ gifts go directly to worthy causes in Antigua and Barbuda. The Trustees volunteer their time and receive no compensation. An annual audit is prepared and Form 990 is filed annually with the Internal Revenue Service as well as a CHAR 500 with the State of New York. Since 1960, the Mill Reef Fund has distributed over US $9 million in Antigua and Barbuda. Members and friends of the Mill Reef Club give several hundred thousand dollars to the Fund annually. The Trustees are grateful to their many generous donors and urge their continued support.
