Today, as we celebrate and honour women, I want to throw the spotlight on a young lady whom I’ve had the great pleasure of interacting with over the past few months. To me, she is the epitome of resilience, tenacity and great fortitude.
Kemica’s very life sends the message that no matter the challenges, we’ve got to push through and accomplish the goals we’ve set for ourselves.
At 22, she is a mother and entrepreneur, and still manages to make her way on the Dean’s List as she pursues a Degree in Accounting and Finance.
“Investing in Women, Accelerating Progress” requires us to also invest in ourselves and each other. Take the time today to celebrate another woman.
Beautiful things happen when we just put one foot in front of the other and when we hold each other up.
