We have been working towards this for more than a year so are delighted we can finally announce the Inclusive Development Programme & Regatta is happening in June at the National Sailing Academy

This is no April Fool's!

World Sailing is set to deliver its first Para Inclusive Development Programme (IDP) in the Caribbean, with Antigua and Barbuda confirmed as the host for June 2026⛵!

This landmark initiative represents a major step forward for Para Inclusive Sailing in the Caribbean Basin, bringing together international expertise and local leadership to establish a sustainable foundation for future development.

Hannah Stodel, Para Sailing Manager at World Sailing, said, “This is a really important moment for Para Inclusive Sailing. The Caribbean represents a huge opportunity for growth, and Antigua provides an incredible platform to introduce and develop the sport in a meaningful and sustainable way.

“The IDP is about more than just sailing – it’s about creating access, building confidence, and supporting sailors at the start of their journey. We are seeing increasing demand globally, and this programme is a direct response to that.”

A huge THANK YOU to the Antigua Hash House Harriers for hosting their annual Valentine’s Day Red Dress Fundraiser! 💃🏽

Their fundraiser raised XCD$5,500 in support of the National Sailing academy. From the sight of men donning red dresses and running through English Harbour, to the lively stops at local bars, restaurants, and the docks, it was truly a fun and unforgettable event for a great cause.

We’d also like to extend a special thank you to all the patrons for welcoming the gents into their establishments and supporting their efforts to raise funds along the way.
