After hosting our landmark first sitting in May 2025, we are ready to hit the ground running and grow our membership.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We would like to encourage your child to sign up for our upcoming Entrepreneurship Workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain exposure to local, regional, and international entrepreneurs while developing valuable business, leadership, and creative thinking skills.

Participants will have the chance to learn from experienced professionals, explore innovative business ideas, and build confidence in presenting their own concepts.
There are also some exciting prizes to be won, including an ACB Junior Savings Account with EC$200 to help kick-start a young entrepreneur's savings journey.

Spaces are limited, so we encourage interested students to register as soon as possible with Mr Harry. We look forward to helping inspire the next generation of innovators and business leaders.

ZERO LONG TERM PARTNERS LOST

Our first-ever donor was the Waitt Institute following Hurricane Irma. They not only provided a grant, but also gave us one-on-one guidance on how to start and grow an NGO. Their support laid an important foundation for where we are today.

After that came GEF. Although we did not begin working together immediately, they were very persistent in encouraging us to come on board, and we have since built a strong and meaningful relationship.

We are incredibly proud that, as a small organisation, we have had the opportunity to meet some of the world's trailblazers and that they have seen potential in us. We see a very bright future ahead because of the amazing team of donors and partners that surround us at the international, regional, and local levels.

We are also grateful for the opportunity to support the work of the governing body in Barbuda the Barbuda Council and The Government of Antigua and Barbuda. We recognise that meaningful progress requires collaboration, and we are proud to contribute to the sustainable development of our communities through initiatives that build local capacity, create opportunities, and strengthen resilience.

A special mention must also go to the many Barbudan and Antiguan businesses that continue to give back to their community. It is because of you that we can keep pressing forward. Every word of encouragement and every financial contribution helps motivate a young person, opens doors for someone in need, and creates opportunities that might not otherwise exist.

As an organisation, we truly believe that there are unsurmountable resources within our community. Together, we can continue to unlock that potential.

Four Weeks of Learning, Culture, and Hands-On Heritage Skills!

Barbuda's history is being restored — one skill at a time. 🧱🪨

Edmund just returned from four weeks in England and Scotland, and he brought something priceless back home with him. At Highgrove and Portsmouth, he got his hands into dry stone walling, brick making, decorative plastering, and shingle making — the very techniques needed to restore and preserve the historic built environment right here on Barbuda.

He also walked through Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey — not as a tourist, but as a student of how great nations protect what matters most.

Now? He wants to teach everything he learned to his own community. Because at barbudanGO, we know that a community which is truly vibrant, progressive, adaptive and resilient is built through its people — and skills passed on become skills multiplied. 💪🏽

This is human capital development.

This is Barbuda investing in itself.
