The organization ABSSO, whose full name is the Afghan Brothers Social Services Organization, does not imply that it is composed of two or more brothers, nor that it serves only men. On the contrary, the leadership of this organization is managed by educated and capable women, supported by a team of committed and knowledgeable young professionals who serve vulnerable and deserving communities across the northeastern zone of Afghanistan.
The phrase “Afghan Brothers” symbolizes unity, solidarity, and mutual acceptance among all ethnic groups of this land. Regardless of whether we are Tajik, Pashtun, Hazara, Uzbek, or from any other ethnic background, our shared national identity is Afghan. Indeed, people in neighboring countries and beyond recognize us collectively by this identity.
Within its organizational structure, ABSSO ensures representation from diverse ethnic groups. Its services are delivered impartially, without any form of ethnic, religious, or linguistic discrimination, and are grounded in principles of fairness, integrity, and inclusiveness.
ABSSO operates across several key sectors, including agriculture, food security, education, health, and home-based industries.
