OASE OASE (Organization of Afghans Support for Education) is a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-political organization founded in December 2018. Why is it needed?

OASE (Organization of Afghans Support for Education) is a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-political organization founded in December 2018 by a group of experienced and well-educated Afghans who grew up in the last four decades experiencing the difficulties of living in Afghanistan or as a refugee but made the most of what was possible. All members of the OASE board are volunteers. OASE is registere

d with Ministry of Economy under the registration number 4572 as national, non-governmental and non-profitable organization. We strive for a better future for the people of Afghanistan. Afghanistan has been going through war and civil war for the last four decades. It is one of the poorest countries in the world. Like all other sectors, the educational system has been destroyed. Many children still can’t go to school and for those, who are going, there is no quality education. Education is the backbone of a country, and educated people are the basis for having a calm and peaceful society. Almost all the parents do want their children to go to school and become literate, but unfortunately the continuation of the war has not let them reach their dreams. What is our Aim? Our aim is to empower girls, boys and local communities by supporting educational programs to achieve peace and sustainable development in Afghanistan. We cooperate closely with the communities and together we are looking for best ways to bring improvements to the education system. There are many schools still without proper buildings, furniture or teaching equipment. There is a great lack of well-trained professional teachers. It is very obvious that the educational system needs support from outside. The communities are asking us for the construction of new school buildings, for establishing training programs for teachers and, because of the present lack of qualified teachers, for educational courses for girls and boys in state schools. Our Vision: An Afghanistan with the best education system for everyone. Our Mission: To work with communities enable every Afghan child having access to good education. How we started:
Most members of the present Board of Directors were previously working with VUSAF (Union of Assistance for Schools in Afghanistan), a German NGO which has worked in the field of education since 1987. One of the aims of VUSAF is to support Afghans to help them stand on their own feet. OASE is a good example. We, the founders, decided to take this big step and, with the support of VUSAF, established an NGO which is 100 % local and independent. We want to continue working for our dreams to build up an educated nation and bring peace to the country. We know very well how important education is to bring peace in the country. We have personally experienced the loss which is caused by insecurity. Our dear friend Rahmanqul Shaheed, who bravely worked for years to educate the children of this country, was brutally murdered by the enemies of the country. Therefore, we do this in remembrance and honor of Rahmanqul Shaheed who gave his life for educating this nation.

🌱 Monthly Lecture Update – Women’s Centres (December) 🌱

As part of our monthly lectures, a session on Healthy Nutrition was successfully delivered in December. The lecture helped students distinguish between healthy and unhealthy foods and enhanced their knowledge about proper cooking and eating habits.

✨ We are happy to share that all topics were well received and proved effective for everyone.

💚 Together, we continue building healthier and more informed communities.

📔Her notebook is empty. His family is hungry 🫓

In Afghanistan, hope is fading. But you can rewrite the story ✍🏻

Your donation today does two powerful things:
1. Fills a child’s notebook with education, not dust.
2. Puts a wage in a parent’s hand through jobs we create.

🌟 Give now. Educate a child. Feed a family 🌟

📢 Educational Courses Update in Ferdawsi School

Our educational courses are running smoothly, with students actively participating and showing great progress. Many children who had previously left school are now performing much better, and younger students have successfully learned the basics—letters, numbers, and early literacy skills.

Teachers are using fun and interactive methods inside and outside the classroom to keep learning enjoyable.

We also celebrate the inspiring story of Hamidullah, a hardworking 12-year-old student who, despite many challenges, continues his education with determination and dreams of becoming a pilot.

🍁 WCB students welcomed the fall season with hearts as open as the autumn sky.
Golden leaves drifted around them like gentle whispers, and the crisp air carried a promise of new beginnings.
With every step, our students embraced the colors of change—bright, bold, and full of meaning—turning ordinary moments into quiet poetry.

This fall, they walk through a season painted with hope, learning, and soft golden light. 🍂✨

🌟✨ Exciting Updates from Our Community! ✨🌟

We’re thrilled to see more and more students visiting our health centers, especially the dedicated young girls!📚 The recent completion of our three-month computer course brought noticeable improvements, empowering participants to effectively manage their administrative tasks with new skills. 💻🎉

In addition, our caretaker workshop kicked off last week, where school staff and community members will gain valuable maintenance skills to better care for their facilities. 🔧🏫

Construction work is also in full swing across four schools! 🏗 New electrical fans, improved toilets, and upgraded classrooms with repaired desks and chairs are enhancing the learning environment for our students. 🪑✨

Recently, we’ve successfully distributed seeds and vegetables to five schools, allowing students to engage with nature and learn about the growth process. 🌱🥦 Plus, thanks to our generous supporters, 19,248 textbooks were provided to address the critical shortage in our state schools! 📖🙌

Together, we’re building a brighter future for our youth! 🌈

📚 September 2025: School Support in Andkhoi, Qurghan, Khancharbagh, and Qaramqul Districts 🌳⚽

In September, our dedicated school councils engaged in exciting renovations and community-building activities! Notably, the Mohammad Yusuf Secondary School raised a high amount of money to paint and repair their building. 🎨👏

From football matches to tree planting, schools are buzzing with energy and teamwork! The Yusuf Andkhoyee School hosted a thrilling football match, where we proudly contributed sports gear to inspire our young athletes. 🏆

We’re proud to say that initiatives like installing school doors and completing classrooms at Makhdum Quli Primary School and Aydeen Primary School are making a real difference. Together, we’re ensuring a brighter, healthier future for our students! 🌟

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our journey of support and improvement in education!
