UNDP Afghanistan has inaugurated Digital Corners in schools in Istalif and Mussahi districts of Kabul. These hubs provide computers, trained teachers, tailored curricula, and internet connectivity, benefitting young girls. These schools are powered by solar energy through the SESEHA project.

In 2024, more than 500 children were killed or gravely injured by unexploded ordnances or explosive remnants of war.
