سازمان غذا و داروی آمریکا در ۱۶ ژوئیه، قرص جدیدی را تایید کرده که می‌تواند سطح کلسترول را به‌مراتب بیشتر از درمان با استاتین‌ها کاهش دهد. این دارو که توسط شرکت مِرک توسعه یافته و با نام تجاری لیپفندرا عرضه خواهد شد، انتظار می‌رود طی هفته‌های آینده وارد بازار شود.

شکل خوراکی PCSK9 که با نام تجارتی Lipfendra و نام جنریک enlicitide به شکل تابلیت های 20mg تولید شده و توسط FDA تایید شده است یک دستاورد مهم در تداوی مریضان مصاب تشوش لیپید ها و یک قدم فوق العاده مهم در وقایه ابتدایی و احتمالا طویل شدن عمر مریضان مصاب هایپرکولسترولیمیا میباشد. خصوصا که این دوا ها بالای لیپوپروتین A هم موثر است چیزی که توسط ستاتین ها کنترول نمیشد. به امید اینکه با تولید انبوه آن قیمت دوا نیز پایین بیاید و در کشور های با اقتصاد ضعیف هم مردم به آن دسترسی پیدا کنند.

یک برنامه سه‌روزه ارتقای ظرفیت برای طبیبان سنتی آغاز گردید

این برنامه برای ۴۵ تن از طبیبان سنتی، از سوی ریاست تنظیم امور طبابت سنتی و متبادل معینیت غذا و ادویه وزارت صحت‌عامه، با همکاری سازمان صحی جهان (WHO)، در تالار عمومی معینیت غذا و ادویه آغاز گردید.

محترم مولوی حمدالله زاهد، معین غذا و ادویه وزارت صحت‌عامه، در مراسم افتتاحیه این برنامه، ضمن خوش‌آمدید به اشتراک‌کنندگان، به وضعیت کنونی، جایگاه و چالش‌های موجود طبابت سنتی در کشور اشاره نموده و تأکید کرد که رسیدن به جایگاه مطلوب و معیاری در این بخش، نیازمند تلاش‌های دوامدار، تعهد، تخصص و استفاده مؤثر از فرصت‌های آموزشی می‌باشد.

همچنان، مولوی غلام‌محمد رازی، آمر تنظیم امور طبابت سنتی و متبادل، ضمن تشریح اهداف برنامه، از اشتراک‌کننده گان خواست تا با حضور فعال و استفاده مؤثر از مباحث آموزشی، در راستای ارتقای دانش و مهارت‌های مسلکی خویش تلاش نمایند.

در ادامه، نذیر محمد پویا، متخصص ارتقای ظرفیت معینیت غذا و ادویه، ګفت که در سه ماه گذشته پنج برنامه آموزشی برای بیش از ۲۰۰ تن در بخش‌های مختلف برگزار گردیده و در مجموع، برای سال جاری ۵۵ برنامه ارتقای ظرفیت در نظر گرفته شده است.

قابل تذکر است که در جریان این برنامه سه‌روزه، موضوعات مهمی از جمله معرفی ریاست تنظیم امور طبابت سنتی و متبادل و دستاوردهای آن، شرایط اخذ جواز برای تأسیسات طبیبان سنتی، اخلاق مسلکی، حقوق مریضان و حفظ محرمیت معلومات، شرایط بازرسی و رعایت مقررات قانونی، مبانی و تخنیک‌های حجامت، رعایت اصول حفظ ‌الصحه، پیشگیری و کنترول انتانات (IPC) در طبابت سنتی، تغذیه سالم و مدیریت سبک زنده گی، مورد بحث و آموزش قرار خواهد گرفت.

Three-Day Capacity-Building Training for Traditional Medicine Practitioners Begins

A three-day capacity-building training program for 45 traditional medicine practitioners has commenced in the conference hall of the Food and Drug Authority. The program is being organized by the Directorate for the Regulation of Traditional and Alternative Medicine of the Ministry of Public Health, with support from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid, Deputy Minister for Food and Drugs, highlighted the current state, importance, and existing challenges of traditional medicine in the country. He emphasized that achieving progress in this field requires sustained efforts, commitment, professional expertise, and effective use of training opportunities.

Meanwhile, Mawlawi Ghulam Mohammad Razi, Head of the Regulation of Traditional and Alternative Medicine, outlined the objectives of the training and encouraged participants to actively engage in the sessions and make the most of the discussions to enhance their professional knowledge and skills.

Nazir Mohammad Poya, Capacity-Building Specialist of the AFDA, stated that over the past three months, five training programs have been conducted for more than 200 participants from various sectors. He added that a total of 55 capacity-building programs have been planned for the current year.

During the training, participants will receive instruction on the role and achievements of the Directorate for the Regulation of Traditional and Alternative Medicine, licensing requirements for establishing traditional medicine clinics, professional ethics, patients' rights and confidentiality, inspection standards and compliance with legal regulations, the principles and techniques of cupping therapy (Hijama), hygiene standards, infection prevention and control (IPC) in traditional medicine, healthy nutrition, and lifestyle management.

Homoeopathy started its glorious journey by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann with this medicine. He, after administering it on a middle-aged woman, was not sure of the effect. Now Bryonia is one of the surest remedy for the practitioners.

Bryonia is a classic homeopathic remedy for conditions that come on slowly, with dryness, heat, and intense pain. The key theme of Bryonia is aggravation from the slightest motion.

As regards constipation, for which it is a prime remedy, the difference with Nux Vom is very prominent. The patient of Nux frequently wants to go to the toilet, whereas the Bryonia patient has no desire at all.

When to Think of Bryonia:

1. Dry, hacking coughs -worse with movement or talking

2. Headaches that feel splitting, pressing, or hammering -worse from even moving the eyes

3. Joint pain, back pain, or stiffness - worsened by motion, even walking

4. Fevers with dryness, thirst, and irritability

5. Constipation - dry, hard stools like chalk

6. Illnesses that begin after exposure to dry cold, or from getting overheated then chilled

Typical Physical Picture:

✓Dryness is everywhere - lips, throat, bowels, cough

✓Extreme thirst - but for large amounts at long intervals

✓Wants to lie still, often on the painful side for comfort

✓Sensitive to light, noise, and being disturbed

✓Head feels heavy; any movement makes it throb

✓Skin may be dry, hot, or even yellowish during fevers

✓Breathing may be painful -especially in chest infections

Emotional Picture:

• Prefers to be left alone, may seem cold or snappy

• Becomes anxious about practical matters :money, work, responsibilities

• Worries increase with fever or illness

• Can seem tense or irritable, especially if questioned or touched

• Doesn’t want sympathy or fuss - just rest and quiet

Common Conditions Where Bryonia is Considered:

✓Flu or viral infections with strong body aches and fever

✓Pneumonia or bronchitis with dry cough and chest pain

✓Migraines with bursting or pressing pain

✓Sprains, strains, and joint inflammations (like arthritis)

✓Constipation from dehydration or inactivity

✓Mastitis with pain that worsens when moving or breastfeeding

Iris Bell, MD, PhD (University of Arizona College of Medicine), explains :
“As a whole system of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), classical homeopathy requires one unified diagnosis (the medicine picture [state of the patient] in the present time), and treatment with the single medicine treatment… Homeopathic symptoms are manifestations of a singular, pervasive, emergent disturbance of the state of the individual as a whole system or network of networks, not of a specific body part or biological mechanism in isolation…”
