Afghanistan Model United Nations Afghanistan Model United Nations (AFMUN) is Afghanistan’s first ever model UN, which was established in 2015. HELA organization is the organizer of AFMUN.

Afghanistan Model United Nations (AFMUN) is the first organization of its kind in the country. This program is sponsored by HELA: Hope for Education and Leadership in Afghanistan. HELA also means "HOPE" in Dari. HELA, through its flagship educational program, AFMUN, is committed to empowering high school students in Afghanistan to discuss and seek solutions to some of the worlds most pressing prob

lems. Its secondary goal is to improve the level of English and promote innovative educational programs for students. HELA is run by students, for students.

We are delighted to announce that in partnership with UNODC, HELA organization was able to include Afghanistan in the list of Free International Anti-Corruption Summer School, which is now accepting applicants from Afghanistan. The one-week-long workshop will be held virtually this year, from 24th - 30th May 2021.
