The Afghanistan Refugee Rescue Organization (ARRO-USA) warmly invites you to a special and meaningful event as we celebrate the Grand Opening of ARRO-USA together with the cultural celebration of Nowruz — the Afghan New Year and a symbol of renewal, hope, and unity.

This event marks an important milestone for the Afghan community in the United States. ARRO-USA is dedicated to supporting Afghan refugees by building bridges between communities, connecting families to social services, and creating opportunities for cultural, educational, and community engagement.

Together we will celebrate Afghan culture, strengthen community ties, and introduce ARRO’s mission to support Afghan refugees and empower our community in the United States.

Agradecemos à prefeitura de São Paulo e seu programa Cidade Solidária pelo suporte e assistência que podemos prestar aos imigrantes e outras comunidades vulneráveis, por meio da doação de cestas de alimentos. Em breve abriremos novos cadastros para que outras pessoas em situação de vulnerabilidade social possam se inscrever. Aos que tiverem necessidade, favor entrar em contato com nossa equipe para disponibilizarmos o formulário quando abrirem novamente as inscrições para as doações de cestas básicas de alimentos.

We thank the city of São Paulo and its program Cidade Solidária for the support and assistance we can provide to immigrants and other vulnerable communities through the donation of food packets. We will soon open new registrations so that other people in socially vulnerable situations can join. Em Brasília, tivemos uma reunião com o senhor Vanderlei Macedo, chefe de gabinete da deputada federal Juliana Cardoso, representante do povo no Congresso Nacional. Durante o encontro, discutimos a organização da primeira conferência sobre a imigração afegã no Brasil, os assuntos relacionados à nova lei de emissão de visto humanitário para afegãos, a situação atual no aeroporto internacional de Guarulhos e os projetos de integração dos afegãos à sociedade brasileira promovendo educação, oportunidades de trabalho, informações sobre documentos, direitos e empreendedorismo no país.

در برازیلیا، ما با آقای واندرلی ماسدو، رئیس دفتر نماینده فدرال ژولیانا کاردوسو، نماینده مردم در کنگره ملی دیدار کردیم. در این دیدار، ما در مورد برگزاری اولین کنفرانس جهت حل مشکلات مهاجران افغان در برزیل بحث نمودیم و همچنین به بررسی مسائل مرتبط با فرمان ۴۲ که برای صدور ویزای بشردوستانه برای افغان‌ها صادر شده بود، چالش‌هایی که مهاجران افغان برای اخذ ویزای بشردوستانه با آن رو به رو هستند، و همچنین وضعیت کنونی فرودگاه بین‌المللی گوارولوس، و پروژه‌هایی که از طریق ترویج آموزش، فرصت‌های شغلی، اطلاعات درباره اسناد، حقوق، و کارآفرینی به ادغام افغان‌ها در جامعه برزیلی کمک می‌کنند، گفتگو کردیم.

In Brasília, we had a meeting with Mr. Vanderlei Macedo, the chief of office from the federal deputy Juliana Cardoso, a representative of the people in the National Congress. During this meeting, we discussed the organization of the first conference about Afghan immigration in Brazil, the issues related to the new law for issuing humanitarian visas for Afghans, the ongoing situation at the international airport of Guarulhos, and the projects to integrate Afghans into Brazilian society by promoting education, work opportunities, information about documents, rights, and entrepreneurship in the country.
