We are pleased to announce the publication of the Afghan Youth Inclusion Mechanism (AYIM), a youth-led policy document informed by consultations with Afghan youth from inside Afghanistan, refugee communities, and the diaspora.

We are also honored that , 2025-2026 Afghan Youth Representative to the United Nations, will share her journey and present the voices, priorities, and recommendations of Afghan youth at the UN.

Thank you to all Afghan youth who contributed to this initiative.

On 9 May, APT hosted a Q&A session for applicants of the Afghan Youth Representative to the United Nations (AYR-UN) 2026–2027 Program. The session provided participants with further information about the application process, eligibility criteria, and responsibilities of the representative.
