When Manawara arrived at the Family Health House in Saqab village, she was experiencing potential life-threatening complications. Thanks to the rapid response and expert care of midwife Madina, she was stabilized and able to safely deliver her baby.

Accessible, skilled maternal care is a vital component of health services in remote communities. With humanitarian support from the Government of Canada, in partnership with UNFPA, the Saqab Family Health House ensures that mothers in Dara-e-Boom District have a lifeline when they need it most.
